You won't believe the views from this is a brand new, beautifully decorated condo. At Palmar there is a nice secure open air parking area. It is located on the 6th floor of an elegantly designed 8 story building that has just been completed. The living area overlooks the pool and ocean and has comfortable seating and a TV. The gorgeous dining area for six boasts awesome views of the ocean. It is perfectly situated about 5 minutes from downtown, and it's right in the heart of many fun activities. This beautiful condo became our destination. Even though the island of Cozumel has many things to do and see, we found the condo itself was where we just wanted to hide away. It's so wonderfully spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet that we that we just hid in it (or on its balcony), sitting, reading & chilling. We really loved the large pool outside! We spent considerable time in it each day doing laps, then enjoying the adjacent hottub. The view from the balcony is outstanding! Not only did we get to see the largest cruise ship in the world (Oasis of the Seas) dock, but even better we looked down onto the wonderful colors of the ocean in front of us. Oh yes, we have to mention the magnificent sunsets we saw from the balcony. This location is great for long walks in front of the condo along the water front. Even though we didn't do this, we noticed many people snorkelling across the street from the condo. And just 100 yards to the south is the atlantis Submarine ride. We didn't do the submarine ride this trip, but did it previously. It was great as we don't dive. Will we be back? A resounding yes!
Ps - If you want to try some wonderful fish tacos nearby, just walk south past the International Pier. At the traffic light turn left for 75 yards or so. There you will find a local Mexican man that serves tacos from the back of his blue half ton truck. Not only are they excellent, they're cheap too! They're well worth the walk.
