Life is Good When at Casa Manana

Left on 10/15/2011 for a stay in September 2006

The services we received from housekeeping and the doorman were extremely friendly and helpful.
We found the condo to be immaculate, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. The location of the "one stop shopping" across the street could not be more convenient. Everything you might need is right there i.e. groceries, alcohol, bakery, drugstore items. A large selection is available and they take credit cards. Snorkeling, right off the dock, was great fun. Underwater things to see, not far from the dock (Spanish cannon and habitats for fish to feed).
The walk to the shopping district could not be any more than 10 minutes. Safety was not a concern. We ventured numerous blocks from the tourist areas along the main shopping district, and did so later in the evening. We encountered friendly local families with children during our walks. Taking the taxis is also a safe option if you are unsure of distance or direction. $5 per cab full was generally the maximum rate to go anywhere. Just determine the fare before you get into the cab and there will be no problem.
The local police department/station/compound is also nearly across the street and they do a drill/parade nearly every day.
The recommendations for local dining options that you will find in the condo are worth trying. We had numerous pleasant experiences with the non-franchise (local) dining options vs the cruise ship places i.e. Carlos & Charlies, Senior Frogs, Jimmy Buffett.
The best part is sitting on that 40 ft. deck looking west out over the ocean at the Yucatan Peninsula, at sunsets and the numerous ships! We were sad when it came time to leave and will come back to this condo for another vacation.

      First trip to Cozumel

Left on 10/07/2011 for a stay in January 2010

We landed by plane at the Cozumel airport. Our directions to this condo were explicit with no problems. Our visit of a week was filled with shopping, eating and touring. We felt safe at all times and not once were threaten by anything happening around us. We felt like we were experiencing accomodations and weather right from a travel magazine. The best!!

This was an absolutely wonderful once in a lifetime experience!

Left on 10/04/2011 for a stay in August 2010

This was a beautiful condo with an amazing view of the ocean and overlooking the pool. This property is close to the downtown area with many restaurants and entertainment. We were never worried about our safety and went around the entire island visiting a variety of many different areas. The condo was so beautiful and comfortable with a huge balcony with hot tub. We were close to shopping for food and other supplies. This was one of the most relaxing and fun vacations I have ever had and well worth the trip!!!

Stress free living with lots to do.

Left on 10/04/2011 for a stay in April 2010

We had vacationed on the mainland in Mexico the year before. There were soldiers with assault rifles everywhere. Cozumel was a very different atmosphere. Wherever we went the people were friendly and helpful. I got the feeling that they knew we were important to their livelyhood.
Shopping, restaurants, entertainment, are all just a few steps away. If you dive this is the best. The reef is right there and you can be picked up by the dive boats right at your dock. The pool and snorkeling is outside your door and if all you want to do is hot tub it and watch to cruise ships come in, you have the perfect lanai.
I have already recommended this to several of my friends. All ages would enjoy but the freedom and convenience of condo living is perfect for families with children.

      Cool, Fun, and Relaxing

Left on 10/01/2011 for a stay in February 2009

Casa Manana is five star with us! Upon arrival the doorman was right there to welcome and assist with luggage. Upon entering the spacious, lovely condo, immediately the ocean view and veranda captivate the mood to relax and enjoy the island. Being within walking distance of the grocery stores, shopping, restuarants, ferry to Playa del Sol, or explore the town for those quaint little eateries is awesome. And all one needs to do is call the concierge to arrange a taxi to take in the island culture (Mayan), go to Chankanub Park, or arrange snorkle/dive outings. Feeling the safe, hospitality of the people, we've been there twice and will likely go again to Casa Manana, Cozumel!
