There's a new Mayan pyramid on Cozumel! (Bldg on Right) It's called the Miramar Condominiums and it's located 2 miles north of town.
There are only 12 units in all, which must make this the coziest pyramid ever. You will find the privacy of this low density setting enjoyable.
Beautiful in its own right, the sloping design allows guests to bask in the glowing sun on all the units' balconies and terraces and to salute that sun with a frosty Margarita when it sets.
And every unit in the Miramar condos on Cozumel does have its own balcony or terrace.

The view is great and the location is good. Taxis are passing by constantly and they are inexpensive. The kitchen is better equipped than most condos. The WiFi is good downstairs including the balcony but not upstairs. However - the cleaning service wasn't great. Our feet got dirty walking barefoot even on the first day. The floors were swept but not mopped. The sheets were low quality and nubby. The maids left laundry in the washer each day (sheets and towels that we hadn't used) and we had to finish it if we wanted to use the washer/dryer.

Our vacation experience was enhanced by having a beautiful relaxing base from which to explore Cozumel. Everything about our rental property met or exceeded our expectations,we would definitely choose this vacation rental option in the future.

We stayed for four nights and wish we would have stayed longer. The condo is so nice and well taken care of. We were really comfortable and it felt like home.
Our baby is 8 months old and was fine. People with toddlers should know that the staircase doesn't have a railing, which is the only reason we won't stay when our daughter starts walking.

The rental was as advertised: Quiet, clean, and with a great view of the ocean. We snorkeled, used the dive platform and the pool, and watched sunsets from our balcony. A perfect getaway!

This was my 7th trip to Cozumel and first time in a condo setting (we've usually stayed with a group of friendsfamily in a villa). We had a perfect stay. It was a nice, quiet well kept building and unit and we'd return. The only thing was that at past rentals a representative usually stop by close to arrival just to introduce themselves and check to see if we needed anything or had questions.

Miramar 404 is absolutely beautiful. I stayed in it many times before the re model and this is the first time after the remodel and it is absolutely even more amazing. It is so private and relaxing and the maint staff is very accomodating and pleasing.

I was very happy with the my stay. Staff was more than helpful, easy to deal with and maintained the facilities at all times. The site is in a great location and quiet. The layout of the condo is very nice, furniture and appliances in good working order and the views are great. When I return to Cozumel I will be looking to stay at the Miramar again.

because we missed all three snowstorms in Michigan! We enjoyed Miramar condos very much: good location, quiet area, inexpensive taxis to town, beautiful pool area, not crowded, great ocean views, clean well-kept condo with nice furnishings, helpful staff just a phone call or e-mail away...we could go on and on. We'll definitely come back (maybe without the teenagers next time!)

I was torn between staying on north side or south and I have to say I'm so happy with me decision to stay at Miramar. The location is perfect and snorkeling off the condo was an ease. I drove around the island one day and have to say the area where Miramar is was the best. So happy with the stay. Thanks!

The pool was very cold. The hot tub was covered with pool water and was also very cold. There was a terrible sewer smell coming from the downstairs bathroom out into the entryway. Other than that, it was a nice place and close to town.

A little salt otherwise, no paper towels, sugar, pepper or just the basics. Maids woke me up almost every morning to clean. I bought a larger TV in 1960 & there should be one in the master bedroom. Towels were tiny and disgusting. Sheets old and tired, particularly one set. Sliding door downstairs catches. I think you have my point.

The twin beds in the 2nd bedroom were incredibly hard making the people sleeping on them very uncomfortable with poor quality sleep. That was the only disappointing thing there.
