The Residencias Reef Condominiums on Cozumel are located right on San Francisco Beach, the most beautiful beach on Cozumel.
Just a 5 minute boat ride to some of the greatest reefs, it's perfect for beachcombers. There's also good snorkeling just off the beach. And that beach stretches on for miles and miles so you can run or jog for as long and as far as you like.All the Residencias Reef condos have central air conditioning, maid service, and access to a large freshwater infinity edge pool, plus the 2nd swimming pool is directly in front of building three.

We have stayed at Residencias Reef on 3 previous visits, we love the location, beach, etc. However this unit was not our favorite. Even though it is spacious, it is not very well equipped with kitchen utensils, dishes, and some staple items. All of the other units we've rented have been well equipped. Beds were extra hard too. We would not rent this unit again.

We only had 3 forks for 5 people. The air conditioner in one of the bedrooms had to be turned off and on during the night as the thermostat didn't work. It would've been helpful to have extra blankets. The mattress in the master suite was uncomfortable. Otherwise, we were very pleased woth our accommodations, the pools, housekeeping. Our maid did a great job!

We had a GREAT time at this Condo. It was much larger than we expected. The Condo is at the corner of teh complex, so two huge walls of glass, yeet lots of privacy. The pools are great. The closest one iseven heated: sounds silly, but it makes a big difference when you are hot and jump in. The landscaping is miticulous The beach is close, but a bit rocky. A nicer beach (San Fransisco)is 4 minutes away. You do need a car to get around. The city is 14 km away. We stayed with 2 adults and 4 pre-teen kids. Plenty of room, just a little short on utensils, cups etc. Bring your own coffee, filters, salt pepper etc. since they keep the kitchen empty (and clean !). We highly recommend this condo o anyone

Had a great vacation and love Residencias Reef. However, had the following problems with 7190:
a) When we arrived the air conditioner in the master bedroom was not cooling.
b) The washbasin in the master bathroom was not draining properly (plugged)
c) There was no hot water. Checked the "breakers" but they were ok.
Reported these problems and they were rectified expeditiously.
Problems not reported and that need attention:
a) The thermostat in air conditioner in the second bedroom does not operate properly. The a/c only stays on at maximum cooling regardless of what temperature it is set at.
b) The upper hinge of the third cupboard door from the left in the kitchen is loose.
c) The property (7190) has a lot of stains on the outside walls. Very unsightly.
Expected better. However, the grounds and pools were well maintained and in excellent condition. Beach needs rocks removed and a sandy bottom swimming area created. -

Residencias Reef is a great place to stay. It is quiet and peaceful there.The 2 BR apartments are very spacious and well kept and the grounds are lovely. You can relax at the pool,meet a dive boat at the near by pier, or visit a nearby beach club for many other activities. Overall, a very nice place to spend vacation. Rent a car if you plan on going into town (14 Km away) frequently, but drive very carefully. In Feb 2011 there was a small detour which routes you onto the side roads.

The property was beautiful and well cared for, we were made to feel right at home. The beach was fantastic and we felt like it was our private beach. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
Our bed was very hard and the manager was able to provide foam pads which helped very quickly. Thanks -

Great stay - have previously stayed at Residecias Reef but not since completion of construction... Great place - not crowded, friendly, quiet... Unit was MUCH bigger than anticipated - what a plus! Previous remarks said furnishings were "sparse" - more than adequate - would suggest a slipcover for the couch - we were constantly worried about marking it. Kitchen has basic amenities but lack of spices and cutting knives - but fine for one week... Linens and towels could be improved but were clean and new - maid service was a bit lacking in details (i.e. dishes not quite clean, spiders/cobwebs). But overall was perfect for our stay - were disappointed to leave!!!

Beautiful condo but No pride of ownership. Owner has tried to get by with the bare minimum of furnishiongs and decor. No washer/dryer. Nice closets in master but no drawers. Bed hard as a rock.

The kitchen was poorly equipped--no placemats, coasters, even organizers for silverware. The master bedroom had no dresser or any shelving to put clothing. The closets had a limited supply of hangers. The laundry room was kept locked most of the time, making it impossible to do laundry. Maid service was tops; property representative--Juavier--was very helpful. We would use At Home in Cozumel again. We would not stay in that unit again.

Cockroaches in the kitchen and bedroom. Oceanview was about one square inch of ocean. Phone only connected us to the hotel operator next door...useless to us. Taxi phone did not work and we had to walk to the gate to request a taxi.

Unit was very nice although furnishings were minimal. Would be nice to have TV in livingroom and chairs on deck. No washer/dryer in unit, but one was made available by property manager.
