Relax and enjoy, in a sunset-facing, condo. Four steps down from your private balcony is the walkway to your choice of two pools or the famed white sand beaches and blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Vacation in warm weather in the San Francisco Beach area of Cozumel. Nestled within the gated Residencias Reef complex, Casa Margarita is offering all the comforts of home with none of the work. Weekly housecleaning is included. Private chef services and/or groceries are available through a local, English-speaking company, Cozumel Chef.
Casa Margarita is rather unique because we offer you the use of two bicycles and a tandem kayak upon request. (We provide bicycle helmets and life jackets for your safety as well.)
This one-bedroom, one-bath condo has a lovely mural of the underwater world of Cozumel in the great room and tile floors throughout. The expanse of glass in the living room brings the light in and invites you out to the ground-level patio to lounge in the sun on beach chairs or sit at the bistro table and enjoy the view.
The master bedroom in Casa Margarita includes a king-sized bed with excellent quality mattress, smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc., closet, safe for your valuables, a second router for excellent WiFi signal strength, a desk for a bit of paperwork or work from home (WFH).
The adjoining master bathroom with double-sink vanity offers plenty of room for your beauty products, cosmetics, shaving and grooming items. Soft, luxurious towels, hand towels and wash cloths are provided. Enter the bathroom from the bedroom or the hallway. Full size washer and dryer sit in a closet just outside the bathroom for your convenience.
An open-concept design great room combines living, dining and cooking areas; the kitchen is in full view and the chef can be part of the conversation.
Flat-screen satellite smart TVs in the living room and bedroom offer English-language channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime and a wide selection of entertainment. High speed Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the home. To ensure you are comfortable at all hours of the day and all seasons, the condominium also has air-conditioning units in the bedroom as well as in the living room.
A gorgeous kitchen, with granite countertops, mahogany cabinets and high-end stainless steel appliances as well as all the must-have counter toppers including coffee maker, microwave, blender, and toaster adjoin the dining room. There is plenty of seating at the large dining table.
You can also enjoy your meals and beverages on the private patio, which offers views of the manicured grounds, mangrove, the pools, palms, and the sea beyond. In addition, the terrace has a roller sunscreen which gives you privacy and provides shade from the sun, as desired.
Back to the beach. Recline on a beach chair in the sun or shade under a palm-covered palapa or wander down the shoreline a bit where you might find a place to grab a bite or have a drink. Jet skis are available for rent and you can book a parasailing outing at the beach clubs nearby. You're also just a sandy stroll away from the pier where dive boats will pick you up for a little underwater fun.
Right in your own front yard are not one but two freshwater pools, where comfortable lounge chairs, shady palapas and cool tropical breezes beckon you to kick back and relax. There's also a jetted tub in the pool, SCUBA and snorkeling gear rinse tanks, and two outdoor showers at your disposal. It's all surrounded by a vibrant landscape of lush green lawns and tropical foliage.
One of the many benefits of staying at this particular condo at Residencias Reef, rather than any other building, is that you have access to the incredible rooftop observation deck. From here you have a bird's eye view of the community and sparkling waters of the Caribbean-which become even more magical as the sun sets.
When you're ready for a change of pace, head to downtown Cozumel, a 15-minute drive away. The waterfront is alive with activity in the shops, restaurants and bars that line the main street facing the water. You can shop, dine, drink, and people-watch to your heart's content there's no shortage of action on the promenade. Cozumel is a popular port for cruise ships.
You can also catch the ferry to Playa del Carmen, a 40-minute ride to the mainland and more shops, restaurants, bars, and beaches. From Cozumel or Playa, you can arrange side trips to swimming spots in amazing limestone formations known as cenotes, Mayan ruins or mezcal and tequila tasting.
