      Very nice accomodations and location!

Left on 06/23/2012 for a stay in June 2012

Our condo was larger than I thought from the pictures, which is always a nice beginning to your trip! It was comfortably furnished with easy access to the pools and beach, right into the jungle courtyard. We really liked our location which is a bit away from town, you must have a rental car or pay $20.00 per taxi ride, ends up to cost more than a rental, FYI. Cozumel is a very inviting Island, just beautiful. Our only complaint regarding the condo were the beds, they really need to be
replaced, especially the sofa sleeper, I read an earlier review with the same complaint, so it would be great if the owner would take note. Residencias is an overall nice place!

Thank you for your feedback Monica! The sleeper sofa this guest is referring to was an extra love-seat sofa in the bedroom. That is gone now. The actual sleeper sofa in the living room is brand new!

      Couldn't have been much better

About as close as you can get to paradise in every sense of the word. Residencias Reef is the best local on the island with it being quiet, secluded, steps from beach/pools/ocean/pier, etc. Casa Emila is a great place to start and end your day. All the comforts of home and a very comfortable bed to boot. Wireless internet works fast and on the ground floor so you are steps from it all. Go and you'll be coming back many times over. Rent a car for sure so you can see all the island has to offer. Go to money bar on Fri/Sat night at 530 for happy hour and the best band in Mexico. Get a group of 6-12 and dial up Tigers adventures for a beach tour via his boat, it will be highlight of your trip. Enjoy... Visit was the week of 7/15/11.

Casa Emila 8120 at Residencias Reef

Left on 08/12/2011 for a stay in May 2011

This place was a little far from town but we had the budget for taxis; $15.00 one way; the taxi drivers were unfamiliar with where to go once they turned off the main highway.
The close location of the pier at the resort (Aura) next door was ideal for our deep sea fishing excursion pick up. The pier also had great snorkeling under it. The Residencias Reef snorkeling was not bad, and you could venture off in either direction.
The beach was quiet and clean, with beach chairs and palapas ready for use, and like most of Cozumel beaches you need water shoes.
The clean and refreshing pool in the front of the property, by the beach, was our own private get away. Never very busy and shaded to some extent in late day. Beautiful! In order to lock up your rental while visiting the beach or pool you had to walk all the way around from the front to the back. Unconvenient, but not too bad. It seemed all rooms in these rentals needed to be outfitted with locking patio doors.
One suggestion to visitors, go for a southern walk along the beach to Carlos and Charlies for some morning chicken nachos and beers. Good food and service, with average-high prices (you will save on a taxi fare!) and lots of excursion activities. Coupons for most of these things can be found in your welcome guest book in the rental, and online.
To wrap this up, English TV channels, wonderful coffee provided upon asking (enough for the whole week stay!), Alex, the manager, and Pawel our bookie, are quick to answer your emails for questions on restaurants and equipment in the rental and taxis are right there in under 5 minutes.
A note for management and owners - those chairs in the living area are not the most comfortable to vege out in.

One of our Best Vacations ever

Left on 04/06/2011 for a stay in March 2011

The entire process of booking, the information that we go provided, the room was excellent, the place is in very convenient spot of the Island.

There was not a single thing that was overlooked. Enough towels for the week, enough water for the week, enough kitchen cookware. The airconditioning great.

I would go back to this place with no problem.

      a beautiful place to relax

Left on 05/21/2010 for a stay in May 2010

was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental
the condo was spotless and very spacious the pictures do not do it justice.
we love it there and hope to enjoy many more vacations at Resedencias Reef.
everyone was so helpful, quiet surroundings and the condo is very well equiped, made most of our meals there.
we loved the fact that you can walk right off patio to both pools and the beautiful ocean.
we will definitely recommend the property to our friends and family, your service was great and we truly had a wonderful vacation.
we would recommend renting a car to enable better access to grocery stores and shopping.
we really did "Enjoy Cozumel" Glen and Betty

Clean Quiet Condo close to San Francisco Beach

Left on 03/27/2010 for a stay in March 2010

My husband and I stayed at this property with our 2 children for 1 week. This property worked very well as a home base for us for the week. The condo was extremely clean, very quiet, and well appointed with all the necessary amenities. The only feedback I have for the property owners is that they should invest in a new sleeper sofa if they are going to advertise it as "sleeps 4." It is not an appropriate bed for anyone over the age of 10. The pools and the property grounds were immaculate, however the area from the palapas to the shore were not cleaned or raked during our time there. It would have been nice to spend our time at this beach with instead of walking down to San Francisco beach where it is raked and cleaned. A car is a must if you are staying at this property for the week. We used our jeep daily to go to the grocery store, shopping and other excursions. In short, this is a great property for couples seeking quiet, or families traveling with very young children.

We loved staying in the Condo at Residencias Reef. We were looking for a quite place to stay without the college kids and loud partying and that's what we found. We were able to do our grocery shopping in town and enjoy our time at the condo to relax, snorkel and read.
