Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Julie (8210). This condo was beautifully decorated, quiet, clean and well-managed. Having the washer and dryer available in the condo was very convenient and will make for lighter packing when we return. My husband and I got scuba certified during this visit to Cozumel and the pier which is just a short walk to the beach away was great as the scuba company would pick and drop us off right there saving taxi fair into town. The furnishings, including the king-size bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything necessary for preparing meals. Security as you enter the complex are very professional and friendly. Both the living area and bedroom have a/C but we never used it... we enjoyed the cross breeze from the sliding glass door and bedroom window being left open.

We so appreciate having the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful condo on a gorgeous beach on a Caribbean island. Not only is the condo lovely, but the grounds are immaculate. Love the security of having a gated community. We've been coming to stay in Casa Julie for three years and looking forward to a fourth year in 2015.
Amazing family vacation...

The condo was perfect, location was perfect, we had an incredible time! Casa Julie is within very short walking distance of two fantastic beach clubs, San Francisco Beach and Paradise Beach. My 7 year old daughter, who was not crazy about swimming with the fish, loved the beautiful beach front pools at the condo and the huge pool at Paradise Beach if we were feeling more social! My husband and 10 year old son completed 8 boat dives and walked easily to the dock for pick up. This is a special place and we cant wait to go back!! Thank you Julie, Alex, Margaret and Pawel! We were well taken care of and this was the best vacation ever. :-)
What a great place!

We had a fantastic time at Residencias reef. Casa Julie was very welcoming and had everything that we needed. It was so nice to come "home" to a place that really felt like home and not a hotel!! We will definitely stay here again when we come on our dive trips! The fact that the dive boats pick you up right at the pier is a huge plus!
A very relaxed week... we want more!

Casa Julie is a great place to stay in Cozumel. My wife & I had more than enough room, cabinet space, made use of the kitchen facilities a few times for cooking up leftovers. Nice sized bathroom, comfy furniture. American tv for drifting off to sleep, free calls to the States & Canada.
Getting there is real easy, right off the road. The gate guys are very friendly.
The grounds are very nice. Both pools are refreshing, the main pool has a killer view. The beach is nice, but it is a rocky water entrance.
Location wise you're about fifteen minutes outside of town, the other side of the island is twenty minutes away. There isn't much food wise within walking distance, but you'll need a car anyway.
Made use of Cozumel Chef Emily's shopping, touring & cooking services and all are recommended. Also alex, the guest manager, was very helpful & friendly.
Very wonderful property

We stayed in Casa Julie for two and a half weeks in early January.
We just loved the property and the condo was very nice for the 2+week stay. Te bed was very comfortable and nice linens were provided. The shower had great water pressure and enough hot water for very long showers. It seems these two issues are in contention for alot of the other unit renters we met while staying at the Residencias Reef. The air conditioner in both the main area and the bedroom were in great working order but with the nice breeze the overhead fan is all that is needed. The pull out couch is a bit worn but nothing really to complain about. The TVs were in good working order as well as the Vonnage phone to call home for free!!
I had a problem with the washer as I was not familiar with the brand. I called the condo manager on a Sunday to basically leave a message and he answered and walked me through it!!!
As far as staying here there are no issues to mention. The facilities are great with 2 heated pools and a very nice beach.
For divers the pick up is right on the dock a few steps away. A nice plunge tank with fresh water provided so very convenient to get your gear clean. If you don't want to cook every day there are restaurants within walking distance from the property - Carlos and Charlies as well as San Francisco Beach club are next door. If you want to cook there are 2 nice grocery stores in town and everything was fresh. The kitchen in this unit does have limited counter space so you do have to clean as you prep. It think that was the only down side for me. Do not worry about renting Casa Julie just enjoy!!
Very peaceful experience...

This is the first condo I stayed in at Residence Reef. It was decorated very tastefully. It was very comfortable, including the mattress. The kitchen had everything I needed. I would have preferred more space to store my groceries, but had I rearranged things, I am sure I could have found space. The location is nice if you like quiet. The view is good. I really enjoyed this condo. It is perfect for 2 people. They also have an air mattress so if you bring 1-2 kids, you would be just fine.

Loved this condo. I stayed with my husband and two kids and it was perfect. The beach out front was quiet and so relaxing. If we wanted more activity, just down the beach is a great beach club with inflatible water toys for the kids. Just to the left of the beach was a wonderful pier, perfect for snorkeling. I would recommend renting a car as a taxi to town was up to $20.00 one way. So nice to have the washer and dryer, that way we could pack light.

Casa Julie is a comfortable, modern, large condo that was well equipped with everything we needed. The condo is located in one of four buildings in a quiet setting right on the beach. The balcony of Casa Julie has a peek a boo view of the ocean through palm trees. We roamed all around Cozumel and the mainland but were sure to make it back to see the sunset from the comfortable beach chairs on the private beach few steps away from our balcony. We absolutely loved it! Everyone was helped and friendly. Thanks so much to Michael and Julie for sharing their piece of paradise.

The condo was beautiful, clean, staff was very helpful. We had a little trouble with air conditioning the first night. You would need a car- the drive to town was not long..!!!but watch your speed!! got a "ticket" the first day. The scuba diving was great, with Miguel Fuentes--afternoon diving with no one on the reef was amazing. Deep sea fishing with Crazy Manuel was fun.. my daughter actually caught 40lb mahi. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks

We stayed at the condo for 3 days in March. The condo itself was absolutely beautiful. It has recently been remodeled and everything is new. They provide a us phone which is so convenient for keeping in contact with people back home and your airline, should you need to. They also provide satellite TV which we used when it rained one evening. Only one pool was open (the infinity pool) but it wasn't crowded so we were ok with it. The beach is also private so you don't have to worry about fighting for a beach chair in the morning. The rental managers were super helpful as well. Overall we had an excellent time and would be likely to come back. Read more

Whenever you go some where for the first time, there is always that fear it may not meet expectation. However that wasn't the case for us, in fact it exceeded our highest hopes. The moment we turn the key and walk into the unit we knew we had made the right choice. The unit was perfect! Tastefuly decorated and finished, it felt like home only in paradise. The whole facility was great, felt very private and quite and yet we met and made some great friendships. If you like diving it doesn't get better or easier then this. A short stroll to the pier where you get picked up by your boat and off to some of the nicest reefs you'll find anywhere. I can say with confidence that you will enjoy this facility and your stay here.

Casa Julie II 8210 was one of the best vacations and experiences we ever had. The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked. Alex, the condo manager was always there if we needed him and was as friendly as he was helpful- as was Margaret. Residencias Reef was gorgeous, well maintained, and in a wonderful location. I do recommend renting a car to go into town to eat at one of the delicious restaurants and to explore the other side of the island which has beautiful beaches. However, there are great restaurants/bars near the condo such as alberto's, Carlos n' Charles, and the Money Bar. We can't wait to return to this condo!

Casa Julie II (8210) was the perfect getaway for us. The unit had all of the amenities that we could ask for, including beautiful sunsets over the Carribean. We have been to Cozumel at least 7-8 times and have stayed at several different locations, Residencias Reef condos was by far the best. It's far enough away from the Cruiseship traffic and has the BEST beaches. NO crowds at all!! GREAT for divers too and right next to the pier for easy pickup. I would recommend www.enjoycozumel.com to anyone of my family and friends, Margaret & Pawel are true professionals. They even had fresh tropical flowers and champagne in our condo on arrival. We will be back in August and staying for several weeks this time around. :)

The apt is ample, well appointed, includes abundant towels and linens (including beach ones) and is in mint condition. Sincerely, beat my expectation.
The grounds are very pretty, the beach wide and sandy, though underwater is mostly rocky. The in "crowd" in the condo is very respectful and family-friendly; I'm ashamed to admit my kids were the loudest disturbance...
Alex was very gentle and helpful, though actually everything was so neat and seamless that did not see him do much!!
After I left Margaret did an awesome logistics maneuver to get me back a few items let behind. Thanks!

Casa Julie at Residencias Reef is a wonderfully peaceful vacation spot for those who love the beach and lounging at a quiet, breath-takingly beautiful location. No need to wake at 5:30 AM to claim a beach chair or palapa, no annoying amplified music blaring, no schedule to make your seating for dinner...We stayed here for a week in March, our second trip to the island and this particular location, and we loved it as much as the first! The accomodations are more than comfortable; very clean and well supplied with basic amenities. One suggestion would be to rent a car as this location is a considerable distance from San Miguel and taxis get costly. We have and wouldn't consider doing it any other way. We love driving around the island once or twice during our stay to take in Coconuts, the beautiful sand and surf on the "other side," and driving into town in the evening for dinner at one of the awesome restaurants. Our favorite is Kinta - not a cheap meal, but well worth the pesos! We enjoyed a massage right in the privacy of our own condo, hired a chef to come in to cook an authentic Mexican meal one evening, and took advantage of snorkeling right off our beach near the pier for some pretty impressive schools of fish. We came back feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and now are wishing we were back on Cozumel!

Unit was spacious, clean and comfortable.

We have stayed at RR for a number of years now. The facilities are perfect for our needs. We prefer to dive the southern most reefs so it makes for a short boat ride. We always rent a jeep and the drive to town we enjoy. If you did not rent a vehicle and taxi'd everywhere to town it would get a bit expensive but cars are pretty cheap to rent on the island. We love the condo set up as we do not want an AI program since our favorite places to eat just about anywhere are on Cozumel. Over 10 years we have become friends with some of the owners and staff. Enjoy Cozumel was wonderful to work with. Communication via email was swift and correct. They do a great job taking care of their clients. They are always available if you need anything. We will use them both for our next trip to Coz in May 2010. Try them yourself and have a great time.
I will stay in any of these condos again

Residencias Reef is a fantastic complex. Private beach access, two pools and
close to main shopping district of Cozumel. I enjoyed a quite getaway here and
highly recommend Casa Julie. The property manager, Margaret, was extremely
helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. She was able to provide
me with diving recommendations, places to eat on and off the beaten path.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and I look forward to spending more time here
P.S. the blonde pool boy is really cute ;)

Thanks for providing comfort and luxury at an affordable price during our honeymoon in Cozumel. We had an excellent stay and truly enjoyed the beautiful escape from downtown. The beach, pool, and condo were wonderful. It was so nice to have our own kitchen and living room to live at our pace during our stay. All the little extras (from beach towels to coolers to books, spices and baking dishes...) really made it feel like home. We had a pretty trouble-free stay with the exception of being unable to get crystal clean water from the jacuzzi jets. However, the view of the nature area in front of our balcony was great as we watched the spoonbills fly in and the iguanas laze in the sun. The neighbors were very friendly too! We look forward to returning again soon with our entire family and will definitely book more time in the future now that we know our dive boat goes right past the beach! Thanks again for making our honeymoon special!

This is a very nice condo. It is very well kept up with nice furniture. The only
draw back is that there isn't any place to put things in the kitchn. It isn't
directly on the beach, but close. It's a bit out of town so you need a car.

This unit is not set up for rental. Owner wants to sell, and has not put in any money. All plates were recycled microwave containers. There were no cereal bowls, we had to buy them. No glass glasses, just yard sale stuff. Wall "decorations" were from Dollar General with price tags still on. Nothing Mexican, just the cheesiest decorations you can imagine. We were terribly disappointed. Read more
