Casa arriba is a beautiful apartment with everything we needed. The location can't be beat. The house is on a corner of a quiet residential street, but close to everything. We were able to walk to the store for groceries, and fix meals in the well equipped kitchen. For divers, there's an outdoor sink to rinse your suit, and a clothesline on the sunny balcony of the master bedroom for drying. Wifi is available and they even provide you with a cell phone while you're on the island. There's aC in every room, but the windows and fans kept a refreshing breeze flowing through the large space at all times. Ariana keeps the place spotless and makes sure you have plenty of drinking water every day. She even stocks the kitchen with snacks and drinks. Sipping tequila on the rooftop terrace was the perfect way to cap a day of fantastic diving.

I have been diving for 45yrs and have several over 1000 dives around the world. With 20 years as an instructor I have learned what to look for.
I recently dove with Scuba Tony in Cozumel. He runs small fast boats at a leisurely pace. Divers choose the sites each day and the guides take you where you want to go or if you are looking for a particular experience the guides will do their best to provide it. The guides are fun to be with and have that special skill of blending good practice for varied levels of diver on the same trip. Your experience is respected and the newer divers are attended to with inconspicuous ease. The boat captains were spot on the reefs we wanted to see and, like magic, were nearby as we ascended. Everyone had the opportunity to use a full tank on every dive.
On my trip we saw everything from sharks to seahorses and nudibranchs. The photographers were especially pleased. Turtles numerous, pelagics, dramatic coral formations, swim-throughs for those who were comfortable with them, too much life, really, to mention.
Tony has a large following for good reason. He and his staff promote camraderie among the divers and this translates into a mutually supportive atmosphere.
Bring your gear with you and you needn't lift it more than twice, once when you get there and once when you leave. The staff clean gear daily, set it up, help you into it, check it for safety, and haul it aboard the boat at the end of the dive.
I've been going to Cozumel since the seventies. I've been on all of the big operations and ten or fifteen of the smaller ones. Scuba Tony is the best. -

Left on 08/20/2012 for a stay in August 2012
I spent in Cozumel 6 marvelous days in august.
Having decided to dive with ScubaTony, I checked out their accomodation on the internet and was already very well impressed by the athmosphere of the house as shown on the pictures.
I asked Tony if I could choose between the two options offered (Casa abajo and Casa arriba) and was kindly granted my choice.
Once confirmed, Tony sent me all the info necessary to reach the place from Playa del Carmen.
At my arrival I was welcomed by the smile of Encarna, Tony's wife and property manager, who showed me the place's features.
The house didn't betray my expectations:
A beautiful apartment, decorated with the fresh and lively colors of the sea, two spacious bedrooms, a lovely bathroom, a large saloon and full kitchen.
Everything airconditioned, free wifi available, drinks and a welcome basket full of Mexican "goodies", and (even!) a local mobile phone to use during my stay.
A lady came for the cleaning every morning and the place was always spotless.
The house is situated only two walking minutes away from the central plaza of San Miguel, but far enough to be very tranquil and to allow me to "breath" the town' s true atmosphere.
It took me only a "nanosecond" to feel perfectly at home and was truly sad to leave what I now call "My home in Cozumel".
The accomodation, the amazing diving and the professionality and kindness of the hosts made my stay unique.
Needless to say that I am looking forward to go back!

This is our second time staying at the Kin Ha and it was just as good as the first if not better. The house is clean and and has every amenity that you could ask for. The location is perfect as you are near the main tourist area but also close to all the great local eateries. On breezy days the air is not needed but if it is the a/c cools the place down quick. Like The Terminator I'll be back! See you next July Tony!

This was my wife and mine's 4th trip to Cozumel in the last 4 years. We had always gone the aI route. We always ended up leaving and were taken in by the people and all the great things to do and places to eat on the island. So we wanted to do something different.
Tony and Encarna were great, I had rented a car from Isis for the week, and as a great convienence Tony hand delivered it to us at the airport! He then took us to the rental property and Encarna gave us a personal welcome/tour. We were given to use our own local cell phone and there was a landline we could us if we needed to call back to the states. This was great since I was scuba diving all week with Tony and my wife would be at the beach so we had no problem getting back together again. These are just great additional perks with the property.
The condo was cleaned daily and was always in great condition. The location was great as you can walk to anywhere you want downtown. We also could park the car right out in front of the condo all week.
We had a care package waiting for us and were told if we needed anything at all they would help us out.
This was just the thing we were looking for, we felt like we merged right in with the Cozumel scene and all the wonderfull people that call it home! -

I visited Cozumel with another friend of mine and decided to stay in Kin Ha (first floor). We were initially thinking of a room at a local hotel but later we thought an apartment would give us the freedom and comfort that would make our trip more enjoyable. And that was the best decision ever! From the beginning, we had attention to detail with Encarna (the property manager). She received us in person to welcome us and give us a fast guide of the house and resources on the island. She even had food/drinks in our fridge as a welcome gift! She also gave us a cell phone with emergency contact numbers and her own cell phone number. That was very helpful as sometimes we would find ourselves little "lost" or not sure about where best place to go for dinner/lunch. We also had another phone to make phone calls to the USa!
Rooms were always very clean. Slept like a baby! Beautiful decoration everywhere. The only thing I was missing was an alarm clock. As soon I let Encarna know, I had a new one in my bedroom table! Kitchen is well-equipped. We sometimes would cook ourselves as we were too tired to go out for dinner. Try the pastries from local place next to Kin Ha! They were fresh and delicious (good recommendation Encarna). Best time ever in Yucatan! We felt like home. Thanks again Encarna and Tony! You are the best!

My friend and I visited Cozumel for a few days and stayed at the lower unit in Casa Kin Ha. Kin Ha exceeded our expectations. This house is very comfortable and affordable. It has all the basic amenities you will need to feel like at home. Tony and Encarna are thoughtful and wonderful people providing us with maps, local cell phone, coffee, full kitchen, daily maid service, beach towels and much more. I highly recommend this place for your next visit to Cozumel. If you want to scuba dive ScubaTony is the best! You will receive the best service in a affordable and safe environment! Simply the best! Lovely!

My wife and I stayed nine days in March .The first commendation has to be the spotless condition the condos are kept in. Next would be the level of maintenance; everything worked and worked well. We like to cook and did not want for any utensils. The condos are very nicely decorated lending the experience to a feeling of comfort and home. We had come off an unfortunate 20 days in the Dominican Republic and really needed a soft spot to land.
Unexpectedly Tony and Encarna had filled the fridge with everything we needed for the first few days. Their hospitality is exemplary. They have created the same standard of excellence we have experienced with the dive business. The attention to detail is mind boggling and frames the holiday with a feeling of being truly pampered.
We love the location and recommend to future guests not to miss out on the cake lady a few doors down. Her cakes are to die for and make sure you ask if she has any cheesecake left. Kin Ha and the cake lady two rare gems on the same block; truly a slice of Heaven.
Many thanks to Tony and Encarna we had a beautiful time.

Casa Kin Ha is located only a few blocks off the waterfront, right in the heart of downtown, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. There are more amazing restaurants within walking distance than anyone could possibly visit in one trip, as well as grocery stores to stock the kitchen, or the kitchen can be stocked for you prior to your arrival. The casa is decorated impeccably, with all kinds of extra touches like daily maid service, beach towels, dishes, snacks and a super helpful guide book, as well as wi-fi and a cell phone to use while you're there. There is ample storage space in the bedrooms and bathroom, and plenty of room for people to spread themselves out and find some quiet, private space. Scubatony and Encarna are always available for anything you may need, and will find/bring you whatever will make your trip more enjoyable. Pairing a stay here with diving with Scubatony is a great way to guarantee yourself an amazing vacation above and below the water!

Extras, extras, extras!!! It is the little things that set this place apart from other rentals. Daily maid service, Wi-Fi, lots of windows, well stocked kitchen, snacks and cold refreshments upon arrival, ac, prime location and a wonderful guide book with places to eat, things to do and maps to locate everything.
Tony and Encarna have a hit with this house! It is located in a great location (walk to the Plaza, to grocery stores, to the boardwalk and to great local restaurants). The neighborhood is quiet, safe and friendly. We just returned from our stay in Cozumel and our family of 5 was more than comfortable in the upstairs house. Large master bedroom, 2nd bedroom with two twin beds, loft with a super, comfy futon allowed us all to have great sleeps and space. The patios were awesome for enjoying the sunshine or watching the sun set.
If you are coming to Cozumel for a holiday or to dive (dive with Tony, he's #1 with Trip advisor for a reason!!!) this is the perfect place to stay.

Kin Ha exceeded all my expectations. From the pre trip through to departure, Scuba Tony and Encarna were organized, gracious hosts and provided us with so many extra touches to truly make our experience phenomenal.. Both the upper and lower units are great, with the top unit having a loft and outdoor patio space.. Kitchens are fully equipped and stocked with loads of extra homey touches like coffee, water, popcorn etc- all the little thoughtful things that make life easier.. The decor of the homes is tasteful and comfortable, all brand new and well maintained.. Maid service was outstanding.. Kin Ha is truly a home away from home in a prime location near square. Quiet, comfortable, convenient, perfection!

We stayed at Casa Kin Ha for 6 days. I found the place to be extremely charming and affordable. The condo was huge and three of us had all the room we needed. There were two balconies for our wet dive gear and the aC was great. There was such a great breeze, we turned it off many nights.
The location is right in town and close to great restaurants. You can walk anywhere you need to and you are steps from the best tacos on the island (Otates). Make sure that you stop at the little store two doors down and taste the great breads for breakfast.
There was daily maid service, wifi that was fast, options for stocking the place with food and booze. There was a great guide book with all the great places to go, all listed for the guests. There was even a loft with cable TV. It helped to keep up on the news while we were away. Tony not only does it right on the water (Diving) but this place is awesome. I cannot see myself staying anywhere else on the island from now on.
Thanks again Tony!!! Great place and you as always, made our stay on the island unforgettable. This place was really cool. Kin Ha is a hit! -

I believe Kelly and I (along with the teenager) were the second group to stay at Casa Kin Ha. We've been diving with Tony for years and this guest house really rounds out his guest experience!
We stayed in the upstairs unit, which would be my pick again for the next trip. The place is clean, well stocked and very close to downtown. Free high-speed internet was a nice additional touch for those of us tied to our gadgets! You can stock your own fridge or they will do it for you (we are self-stockers). Walked to nearby restaurants and the plaza, and we wouldn't even really need a car if it wasn't for our obsession with the east side of the island after diving in the mornings with Tony.
Highly recommended for divers and non-divers alike. Tony and Encarna hit a home run with this one! -

My husband and I stayed at Casa Kin Ha in august 2011 for a dive trip with ScubaTony. We instantly fell in love with the place. Awesome location, spacious, and clean! On arrival, we were greeted with fresh fruit, snacks, sodas and beer. The a/C and appliances all work great. All amenities you would want are provided as well as a helpful guide book of things to do in Cozumel. ScubaTony and Encarna were only a phone call away if you needed anything.
Whether or not you stay here to dive with ScubaTony or rent this Casa for your next Cozumel vacation, you will not be disappointed. This place is in the best location. Walking distances to downtown, Mega, and tons of amazing restaurants in Cozumel!! My husband and I fell in love with the place more everyday and were sad to leave our Cozumel "home". This Casa is a definite must if you want a true Cozumel experience! -

Ok, i am finishing up a great week at Kin Ha with my girlfriend. This place is awesome. It is a spacious two bedroom downtow. It is near everything! We stayed in the bottom unit, which has a front and back patio, where we ate breakfast in the morning and sipped wine at night (Coz needs a better selection of wine!!!...the Chillean and argentinan cabs are nice for the price).
The place is clean, well furnished and has everything you need. Ive stayed at the all inclusives, and while nice, you dont experience the real Cozumel,
What really sets this place apart, is the customer service. Tony and Encarna really worked hard fixing the place up. Tony greeted us 10 minutes upon our arrival, gave us a local cell phone, and is allways there for a restraunt recommendation or anything else you need.
The diving was great too...:)Response from Tony Anschutz - 09/23/2011

Stayed here the first week of July and it was better than staying at the all inclusives. The room was freshly painted and very well decorated. A nice welcome basket of fruit, sodas and beer was waiting for us upon arrival. The a/C and the fans cool down the room quickly and keep it cool. The rental is equipped with several amenities: Blender, Cable TV, WiFi a full size fridge and much more. The Kin Ha is a 5 min walk from several good local eateries and has a several bodega style stores nearby.I can't find anything negative to say about this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in town and close to all of the local places.

Casa Kin Ha. A great name for this condo in Cozumel. We stayed there in June of 2011 while on a diving vacation and it was a fantastic experience. This condo is very clean and very large. The accomodations and amenities are very nice (i.e. great beds, cable TV and wireless internet). It is just off the waterfront but centrally located and just a block or two from Otates (best tacos al pastor ever!).
I can't say enough about the place except that if you are diving in Cozumel you can't beat it. I have stayed at hotela and all inclusives there but the value and location of Casa Kin Ha can't be touched.
The owners (ScubaTony and Encarna) have done a tremendous job in making it your Cozumel home during your trip.
