This apartment puts a European feel to Cozumel living! This stunning property, which is a gated, houses two other apartments, with a beautiful shared pool, gardens, palapa (or thatched-roof hut in English), hammocks, bathroom with shower, outdoor seating, scuba rinse tank, and laundry line. There is even a banana tree ripe with bananas to enjoy! For security, there's a live-in 24/7 caretaker, Don Luis, who has a small apartment on the property. Don Luis will be the one who will greet you upon arrival. Mexico DFA week of fun!

We had an excellent time hanging out by the pool and using the bbq pretty much every evening. The apartment is located a block from the grocery store, and there are lots of local kitchens as well as american chain eateries nearby. If you really do suffer from the heat, there´s even air conditioning that you can turn on to escape. Another nice point was that there is a caretaker on the site - Juan - and that the owner stops by every once in awhile to check on things and is just down the road at her BnB should anything arise.
Just a note - one of the beds (they´re big!) is in the same room as the kitchen - so make sure the early rising couple grabs that particular room for when they go in search of coffee in the morning.
To those who don´t know the island well, just because you´re located close to the water, doesn´t mean you´re close to the beach. There isn´t really any open waterfront near this apartment - or anywhere near this side of town. We would recommend renting a car or scooter to get the beaches on the far side of the island as the beaches on the near side have been taken over by beach clubs that cater to the multiple cruise ships that come in every day - or do as we did and just chill by the amazing pool that is at your doorstep. -

We loved our stay at apartment Lime! We loved the location, we could drive our mopeds to the grocery store and the awsome movie theatre, we actually could have walked! (Something fun, the movie theatre, they have shows in English!) The courtyard to the apartment was beautiful, full of flowers and birds, and the hammock by the pool was a perfect place to sit in the morning. It was nice to have a safe place to park our mopeds too! We could always find it, so nicely located. We loved that there were 2 bathrooms and a beautiful kitchen with drinking water provided! I can't say enough about it, I was so happy! We wanted to move in. So much more fun than a hotel!
