Our condo at Residencias Reef was lovely. We looked over the grounds to the beach and ocean. Sat on the balcony to watch sunsets every night. The beach was pleasant and not crowded, but the ocean is a little rocky to walk in and out of. Great place if you don't want hype, though there's plenty bar/music action near-by. Apartment was quite comfortable. The only criticism is that the knives are very dull.

We spent 2 weeks at Casa Kathy. The condo is comfortable, well kept up and the perfect size for the 2 of us. I liked being on the 3rd floor because we had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony (don't have that in Minnesota.) All the people who work at Residensias Reef are very friendly and after our arrival, they always knew who we were when we arrived at the security gate. And they always cheerfully greeted us when we were coming or going. The grounds were kept meticulous and the pools were always in perfect condition. We were able to snorkel off the pier but were also in close proximity to the Corona Bar and the Money Bar for some fantastic snorkeling. Do be sure to bring plenty of cash. Credit cards are not accepted everywhere, checks are totally worthless even at banks and the atms charge 10%. Would definitely recommend Residencias Reef to anyone looking for a nice place at a reasonable price.

We just got back from Cozumel and had a fantastic trip! Casa Kathy was a great alternative to a hotel - we have a young baby so we needed a kitchen, and there was plenty of space for her to run around, and us to have a place to relax after she went to bed. The ocean views from the balcony were beautiful and the pool was great. The staff was also very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
