Our newly renovated, private Villa Flamingo is a spacious two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath villa uniquely designed to accommodate 4 guests boasting ocean views and a private veranda with jetted outdoor tub.
The Villa Flamingo is a very spacious unit with full gourmet kitchen, dining area, large living room with ocean views, one full bathroom with shower and one half bathroom, hair dryer, and mini split zone air conditioning. I'm sure people wonder what they will get if they book these smaller establishments - and that may be why some elect to spend more and go to the Intercontinental or such. However, in this case Tom has blended casual atmosphere, modern comforts and locale convenience to create a wonderful boutique hotel. Because it's a smaller hotel it doesn't have a pool. However, set just 2/3 of a block back from the main waterfront and just 3 blocks from the central plaza in downtown San Miguel de Cozumel it offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, transport and other amenities -- without being noisy. We found that we had arrived the week of Carnaval! (This is a 100 year old tradition on Cozumel). When we found that the parade happens over 3 nights and goes on for 4 hours each time we wondered if we would get any sleep. Gotta tell you .. once you hit the beds that the Flamingo has installed .. you are out. Most comfortable beds we've come across in Mexico. Couple that with friendly staff and great mojitos .. why would you stay anywhere else. We'll be back !

We had the most enjoyable vacation ever. One night we had a meal cooked just for the 2 of us on our Private Villa. The cook set the table outdoors and served us the most romantic dinner, we have ever had; very professional. It was so nice to come back at the end of the day and have a glass of wine in our own private outdoor jacuzzy. There was comfort, peace and we received great personalized attention. I don't think any other Private Home can offer this kind of personalized service.
