The town of Crickhowell lies along the banks of the River Usk and is in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park; it is often referred to as ‘the glittering jewel of the vale’ and these days is a vibrant town with small, friendly, individual family owned shops providing not only daily essentials but interesting shops for browsing, often displaying work produced by local artisans. Just a short stroll around the town and you will see that Crickhowell has many excellent places to eat out or just have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

Historic sites are in abundance with Tretower Court on the doorstep, Abergavenny Castle, Raglan Castle and many more are just a few miles away.
