This is an annual family vacation. Everyone had a wonderful time. This has been a perfect spot for several years. We brought our Boston Whaler, which was a perfect size for the lake and the dock. We were able to ski, tube and fish (caught 5 - even though this lake isn't known for fishing) . We enjoyed the beach, kayaking, canoeing, fires and spending time together relaxing. The house is great and I have to tell you after renting many other places before this great find, you should be proud of your cleanliness. We would love to rent again for the same week. Albany, NYThe place to be!
Left on 11/11/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Words can't explain how great of a northern NY paradise Beaver Point Lodge is. The accommodations were even better than the pictures demonstrate. Working with Jim to secure the rental and also getting the pleasure to meet Steve the caretaker made the whole experience as simple and as carefree as you would like your get away to be. Whether you are with the group or long for some quiet time alone, the vastness of the lodge and surrounding grounds makes it easy to achieve. Not a fisherman my self but the other guys in the group with me went out several times and all but one caught fish on more than one occasion. I was reluctant to make this post as much as I almost want to keep it my secret but it is to beautiful and tranquil not to share. Do yourself a favor and get there. You will not regret it.

Boston, MAGreatest getaway spot ever!
Left on 11/07/2011 for a stay in October 2011
First off, let me just say that the lodge owner is very accommodating and the care taker is top notch. We have rented two years in a row now and every year Steve the caretaker shows up to make sure we settled in without any trouble and makes it clear he is just a phone call away if we need anything, anything at all.
The lodge itself, is beautiful, spacious and packed to the gills with fun things to do. The property is secluded and allows for visitors to sit around a camp fire all night without the worry of disturbing near by guests.
The Beaver Point Lodge is trully amazing and would make a great vacation spot for anyone who likes relaxation, comfort, and fun. -

Left on 11/02/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We have rented Beaverpoint Lodge for three years and plan on returning next year. The facility is first class and offers a wide variety of amenities. We travel with extended family and eight children under twelve years of age. They start asking grandpa shortly after we leave, when are we going to the adirondacks again?

Left on 10/31/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I have traveled to Beaver Point with friends and with family and children...in the summer and in the winter. It's such a great place.
In the summer we enjoy the beach and scenic boat ride. In the winter the snowmobiling is great!
Jim the owner and Steve (caretaker) both do a fabulous job getting the place ready for our visits. Last time we arrived to music and a beautiful fire in the fire place. We have never been disappointed with our stay at Beaver Point.

We have stayed at Beaver Point Lodge for 5 years in a row . We love the house, the lake, the grounds and the wonderful atmosphere. We have added family members every year because they all know we have such a good time. It's a wonderful place to get family together. We used to try a new place every year, but now that we have stayed here, we don't want to go anywhere else.

We are a group of 13 adults who love to snowmobile and enjoy each others company at night while we relax. This house is located very close to the trail and when we are done riding for the day provides more than enough room to realax and plan the next days ride or play games. The fire place and ample supply of wood make hanging out in the living room very cozy.

Our group was seven adults and six kids under the age of ten. We took up our snowmobiles and had an unforgettable time. The lodge was beautiful and very nicely decorated/kept. The space was ample and we rode right out of the driveway onto the trail.
Overall its a great location for a large family with kids...lots of indoor/outdoor activities for everyone! -

Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in July 2009
Beaver Point Lodge is one of the most equisitely detailed homes I have ever stayed in. There was no expense spared with respect to the beauty, comfort, and amenities provided. It is big enough, and well equipped and would be an ideal spot for a small family reunion.

Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in July 2009
A large group of friends and family get together every other year for our Summer Group Trip. There were 7 adults and 5 kids.
We loved so much about Beaver Point. It is fairly remote on its own little peninsula. It has a fun little beach and diving platform with canoes and kayaks along with a nice firepit area.
Inside we loved the porch and the huge dining/gaming tables! The rooms were great with plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms.
Getting there is a bit of a challenge because of how remote it is, but we loved that we weren't surrounded by lots of other people.
Restaurants and groceries are conveniently close.
We all loved Beaver Point and would absolutely go back.

Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in June 2011
This is a high-quality well-managed rental that anyone would love to stay in. We really enjoyed the deck and the screened in porch with a great view of the lake. The two levels gave everyone space and privacy and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The boating trips out on the lake were scenic and private, it was like having your own lake.

Penfield NYAwesome Family Vacation Spot
Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Our family has dealt with 3 deaths in our immediate family this spring and we needed to be together, have some quiet time, rest and have some fun together to regroup. This was exactly what we did. There was no place to go except out on the water and we did that a lot. This was the best family vacation we have had in a long time. The house was wonderful for 4 couples and 2 little kids. We can't say enough good things about it. Clean, furnished lovingly, and we could have stayed longer.
