This terraced cottage is set in the village of Cromford, close to Matlock and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Mill Worker's Cottage is a traditional, terraced cottage in the village of Cromford, three miles from Matlock in Derbyshire. This cottage sleeps four people in two double bedrooms, one of which is on the second floor, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside there is roadside parking opposite the property and a rear enclosed patio with furniture. Mill Worker's Cottage is a delightful base for visiting many attractions in the Peak District.

Amenities: Gas central heat...ing with electric fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking available in a cul-de-sac opposite the property. Bike storage. Rear enclosed patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk. Note: This property has steep stairs. Note: This property is situated on the main village road, as such some associated noise can be heard.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  The cottage is one of the original arkwright's cottages built to accomodate his workforce. It was wonderful to stay in part of the wonderful heritage of this Unesco World Heritage site. The cottage though having all modern facilities still retained signs of its' original use. It was very tastefully furnished and had a pleasant garden area. A home from home.
