Columbus, OhioAmazing space with great accomodations
Left on 02/15/2013 for a stay in February 2013
My new husband and I met on St. Thomas Usvi 2 years ago and just returned from our honeymoon in St. John after getting married Feb 2 in Ohio. We are well aware of the sites, beaches and bars on STT and STJ. The Cottage was the most Fabulous choice for us to go back to. The room was beautiful, laundry was available, the pool right outside our front door that overlooks Cruz Bay was an awesome accessory. We often sat outside at the table overlooking the Bay late night after our adventures. This Cottage brought back the feeling of living in the islands but made it even a little better then our previous residences down there! We didnt even rent a car on our stay because the walk is easy to the town. Cinnamon Bay is our favorite beach in the past and we spent most days there with a $15 safari ride for the two of us. Best honeymoon spot reviewed from previous locals :)

Latrobe, PennsylvaniaWe could not have found a better place!!!
Left on 02/02/2013 for a stay in December 2012
My husband and I stayed at The Cottage for the week over New Years. It was a perfect location, we walked everywhere. We had beautiful veiws and the place had everything, A microwave, toaster, blender. utencils.bug spray, laundy facility and pretty much all we needed. We had plenty of space and a great balcony. The pool was right out our door so we could swim or just relax right by the pool. The one road to The Cottage is pretty steep, we just took our time and jumped in the pool when we got back. The place was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed it so much we plan on staying here again this New Years if it is avaliable. The other condos at Battery Hill were just as nice.

South Windsor, ConnecticutPerfect Place for our Honeymoon!!
Left on 10/25/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Loved the cottage! It is small but what more does a couple need then a clean bed, bathroom, and beautiful views! I certainly didn't want to cook on my honeymoon so we were totally fine with just a toaster and microwave. A few times we ate breakfast out on the deck and ate all of our other meals out. While they do say a car is not a must I would highly recommend it. We didn't go with a rental car reservation but we did end up renting a car for 4 days. I would recommend using St John car rental. They gave us a nice jeep and when we wanted to extend our car rental by 2 days it was no problem. We didn't use it going into town because it is a pain to find parking but to explore you want a Jeep. Taking a taxi to the beaches can get expensive. Must go beaches are Maho and Trunk Bay. Must go restaurants/bars are Beach Bar, ZoZos, and Margarita Phils.

Port Washington, NYPerfect Little Beach Bungalow in the Heart of Paradise!
Left on 05/19/2012 for a stay in May 2012
The Cottage in the Battery Hill complex was exactly what we were looking for: comfortable accomodation and a place to rest our heads at night after long days at the beach, lively happy hours, and amazing dinners. The Cottage lies right next to the shared pool, but felt like we had ample privacy. There are 2 easy walking routes into town: one lets you out right near our fav restaurant (La Tapa) and the other right near our fav bar (Beach Bar)...couldn't be more ideally located. It's also a very short walk to our second fav restaurant (Zozo's). Anyway, great stay and great value!!!

We loved the position of the home to Cruz Bay. easy walk to town, great views, nice breeze. the room was just the right size for the 2 of us and the little extras that went into the room were an added bonus. Extras include flashlight, bottle of rum, water and extras in the refrigerator and an awesome 3ring binder with all kinds of info for the island (food, activities, etc). I would have taken this binder in the car with us on excurions but it specifically asks you to leave in the room! We wish the construction wasn't going on outside the cottage - even though it appeared to be on hold, the huge tractor was an eye sore. the rooster at 3am and the music from the bars below made it impossible to sleep with the windows and doors open but neither ruined our stay. we just closed the doors and turned on the fan and a/c and slept the night away. one thing i would suggest is a cheap pair or two of those foam earplugs awaiting guests upon their arrival. nontheless, everything was very nice and comfortable. I would recommend the cottage to my friends. if we stay on the island again the cottage or another rental managed by cimmaron will be a must. very professional and friendly staff.

The cottage was a perfect place for 2. All the extras included were great and it's a perfect location in Cruz Bay if your main goal is to explore. It is small...but for us that is all we needed. St. John is breath-taking and we will definitely be returning!

Brooklyn, NYAmazing value, mesmerizing view
Left on 11/25/2011 for a stay in November 2011
The Cottage was the perfect cozy vacation rental for my husband and me. The location is perfect -- walked down the hill to dinner every night, never had to worry about parking in town (not easy) or driving after a couple of drinks. You will likely drive to the various beaches during the day anyway (rent a Jeep), so proximity to town is key. Looking out the huge windows across the bay every morning never got old -- relaxing and beautiful. Ate cereal on the deck by the pool overlooking town and bay -- couldn't be better. Sure, it's small, but it has everything you need (and then some - so many nice extra touches, like a care package upon arrival), and is perfectly comfortable for two.
