Located within easy walking distance to Cuenca's historic city center. A large terrace offers mountain and city views. This new condo is beautifully and completely furnished. It has Direct TV and free Wi-Fi. It is located within one block of a grocery store, pharmacy, ice cream parlor, many fine restaurants and one block from city bus stop. Two bedrooms with queen size beds and private baths each.

We were delighted with this rental property, and have already recommended it to friends. Anyone visiting Cuenca for the first time will find this penthouse a safe and very comfortable place to call home during your stay. You will be just around the corner from the local grocery store, an ice cream/sandwich shop, restaurants, and taxis. There is even a Pizza Hut close enough to walk to, if that's your thing. The huge sixth-floor balcony offers interesting views in three directions, and the amenities inside the condo are as complete as you could hope for. I am soon to be 60 years old, and this Cuenca Penthouse might be the best travel bargain I have ever found. I recommend getting a reservation, and do so without any reservations.

The condo is located within walking distance of several restaurants and stores. An easy walk to Old Town. The two bedroom condo is spacious and each bedroom has a bathroom. The kitchen is large and has everything you could want. The outdoor penthouse balcony is large and comfortable. The views of Cuenca are unbelievable.

The pictures did not do this condo justice! We absolutely loved the outdoor space..beautiful plants, comfortable furniture, amazing views of Cuenca and the mountains.
The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable...I've had two back surgeries and was pleased to have such comfort at night. Tom loved watching movies in the media room...and had his laptop set up nicely on the desk...he was a happy camper.
The location was great. We walked every day and found nice restaurants, a bank (ATM), the SuperMaxi grocery store, a beauty shop, and pharmacy, and the cell phone shop all very close to our condo. We walked to the center of town within 10 minutes. All very convenient.
We highly recommend staying in this condo. It had every thing we needed and more. Very tasteful decor...and very spacious.
Chuck and Nancy were great hosts...we were well taken care of! -

Our title says it all - our stay at the Cuenca Penthouse was amazing. The views, the amenities of the condo, the friendliness of the hosts, cleanliness, location all are part of what helped make our stay spectacular. Every detail was attended to in a most special way to create an ambiance beyond our expectations.

We chose this penthouse to test run what it would be like to actually live in a condo in Cuenca. It was the perfect set up for our experiment, though to find a suitable match to this lovely home may prove challenging.
The condo is beautifully appointed in a manner suited to its spacious floor plan and care was taken in selecting comfortable, stylish furniture/artwork to make it feel homey and inviting. The layout is perfect for a family or 2 couples with the bedrooms /ensuite bathrooms being separated by an entertainment room, providing maximum privacy and convenience. A separate powder room in the hall was rarely used, but nice to have available. The bathrooms are tastefully tiled in subdued tones and the bedrooms are large with spacious built-in wardrobes and comfy beds.
The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with nice appliances, pots, pans, utensils and dinnerware. Everything necessary is at hand to prepare a simple or not-so-simple meal, and the dining table is strategically placed to enjoy the beautiful mountain/city vistas, making for a very romantic setting for evening meals as the lights twinkle in the surroundings after sunset.
The interior of the condo is near perfection, but the terrace provided us the most enjoyment. It's where we enjoyed our morning coffee, picnicked at lunchtime and drank in the stunning views morning, noon and night.
There are a variety of restaurants within a short walk, as well as a nice grocery store, drug stores, liquor stores, etc. Buses and taxis are available just around the corner for easy access to every pocket of Cuenca and beyond. A short, safe and pleasant walk puts you in the heart of the Cuenca's historic square.
All of this came at a very reasonable price with the added benefit of kind and efficient owners and a management team that cared for us as though we were old friends.
We continue to day dream about our time spent in Cuenca and would fully recommend this gorgeous penthouse without hesitation.

My husband and I stayed at the Watson condo for over six weeks, from September 19 to November 7, and had a fabulous time.
Everything about the condo is top-notch: location, furnishings, amenities; in fact, everything surpassed our expectations. We found the location excellent for walking to the many local restaurants, sights, and shops.
Thank you, Chuck and Nancy, for your hospitality! We also enjoyed meeting Randy and Karen, the managers, who were extremely friendly and helpful!
We loved every minute of our stay at the El Molle Condominium complex and can't wait to return in 2012! -

My wife and I stayed at the Cuenca Penthouse for 10 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Nancy and Chuck thought of everything and were extremely helpful. The property is in pristine condition. You feel like you are right at home staying here in a newly furnished and thoughtfully appointed condo. Everything that you could think of was taken care of. The property is a 15 minute walk from El Centro and has a nice grocery store and eateries near by. If you long for a slice of america there is even a Pizza Hut within 5 minute walk.

Nancy and Chuck are the perfect hosts. They made our trip to Cuenca one to remember. The penthouse is beautifully decorated in the perfect location. Only a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beautiful city center. The condo has all the comforts of home including a high tech washer/dryer. :) We will never stay anywhere else when we are in Cuenca.
