Our house is in the middle of a beautiful lush garden filled with various fruit trees and an abundance of flowers. This spacious one-story house has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a newly restored and fully equipped kitchen, two dinning rooms, a spacious living room, and a sun room where you can enjoy the garden from the inside. Adjoining the master bedroom is a small Zen Garden where you can start your day listing to the chirping birds with a nice coup of coffee. Our location is very convenient for adults seeking to improve or perfect their Spanish language skills since there are two excellent language schools walking distance from our house (Encuentros & Experiencia).
We are located in the neighborhood of Acapantzingo between the major streets of Rufino Tamayo and Atlacomulco.

Our daughter was studying at one of the many language schools in Cuernavaca. This was the perfect location for our visit. The grounds are lovely. The house is spacious and clean. Having our own kitchen was so helpful. The beds were a little firmer than our liking -- but everyone has a different preference.
I loved the natural light in the bathroom as I showered. And we enjoyed wandering through the grounds as we stepped from the city street, through the locked gate, into our own little get-away.
Juana was the perfect on-site host -- even with the language barrier. However, I was glad our daughter spoke Spanish because that's the only way we learned where to turn on the hot water heater! (I must learn Spanish!)
But you can't go wrong with a stay in this home. The center of the town was a short cab ride away. Sure we could have walked. But we saved our energy for the day trips to pyramids and other sites.
The owners were so easy to work with. A few quick emails and all was set.

We are already scheming to get back to this exquisite place. The house is perfect, the kitchen modern and congenial for the home cooking we love to do (fresh squeezed OJ, anyone?), and the garden...how can we say enough about the cascades of blooming flowers, the flowering trees, the dawn views of Popocatepetl? All this and a 15-minute walk to the Centro. There is also a little market that lovely & congenial Juana, the caretaker and hostess during our stay, pointed out about 100 yards from the front gate. Local salsas, tortillas, vegetables, all practically at your doorstep.

We spent a short weekend in Cuernavaca and this home was the perfect getaway for me, my husband, and my in-laws. We arrived very late at night and Juana was there to welcome us, show us around, and make sure we were taken care of the rest of weekend. The home is in a beautiful setting and had all the amenities we needed. It was a nice 15 minute walk to the center of town, but we never wanted to leave the peaceful and relaxing scenery of the house!
