There are two apartments in the Villa. Apartment 1 is a studio and Apartment 2 is a double. One the way in, there is a shower to get rid of the sand and the sea water. There is a shared deck in the inside of the Villa with hammocks and a full equipped kitchen. The patio provides space for kids to play.
Culebra is a beautiful island located in the tropical waters of the Caribbean. Easily accessible thru Puerto Rico, the island is a United States (US) territory, so no visa or passport is required to American citizens, otherwise an American visa is required. The Villa is located next to the airport. It is a fiveteen minute walk (even with luggage) or a 3 minute taxi which are available at the exit of the gates. Culebra Blue Villa is located in the main street of Villa Muñeco town. To get to the Villa, take a left on the exit of the airport and the next left after that. Keep straight for half a mile and you will see it at the left.

This was my first time staying at a rental in Culebra, I always camp in Flamenco, but since we were only two travelling we decided to rent a room. I found Culebra Blue Villa in Tripadvisor and after reading the reviews I decided to book the studio. The owner, Heloisa, was really friendly when I called her to ask something about my reservation, and although at first I was a little apprehensive about the experience of being too close with the other apartment I have to say that I truly enjoyed the experience.
As soon as we arrived (12:00PM) the manager cleaned the studio and it was ready almost an hour after. The studio is really, really nice. It has a flat Hdtv with basic cable (but, who will go to beautiful Culebra to watch TV?), air conditioning (perfect for the hot weather), a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and utensils, and a futon. It was perfect. The bathroom was clean and seemed newly remodeled, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the space was perfect for a romantic escapade. As for the other apartment, I thought that it would be a problem to have such close "neighbors", but we barely saw each other and there was not much noise or inconvenience, I wasn't bothered at all.
The place also have parking space which is great if you have a rental car or if you travel with your own car (as I did) and a nice porch with a shared stove (which we didn't use). It has also a great location, 7 mins to Playa Flamenco and Tamarindo, and 20-25 mins to the Museum, Playa Zoni and Playa Larga, and less than 5 minutes from Dewey (the town). I have traveled and stayed at many hotels (including 4 stars) and I have to admit that this has been one of the best places I've stayed by far (and specially for such a low price). If you're looking for a cheap place to stay either with large groups or only with your partner/spouse I highly recommend Culebra Blue Villa.

I spent New Year's weekend on this house with 8 other friends and family members. The house was equipped with everything we needed: pots, pans, glasses, mugs, and utensils for cooking meals, enough beds, towels, pillows, and chairs for everyone. There was hot water, which is always a plus for me. In general, the place is as described in the listing.
The place is not very stylish and it doesn't have an incredible view of any beach, but this can easily be overlooked since it was really very cheap to stay here for the large group that we were and in comparison to other hotels and rentals. We booked both parts of the house and it was around $530 in total for three nights so that would be less than $60 per night/per person for the whole stay.
The owner was also very helpful and patient with the booking process (first time I ever search and book for a place to stay through the internet) and she was easy to reach by phone. Since no one was checking out on the day we got there, we were able to get an early check-in after getting off the 9am ferry to Culebra.
The only thing that I would add is that you have to be aware that the villa is located about 25 minute-walking distance from the town of Dewey (I took this walk to town and back one night). This means you will need to call a taxi or perhaps rent a car to get everywhere. Other than this, this is definitely a great place to stay for those with a large group of friends or with a big family. -

I traveled with 8 other students so there were 9 of us. It was a total bargain. Including the 50 USD cleaning fee we paid 20.50 per night. It is two places that are joined and we rented the whole thing so we had two bathrooms and actually 3 kitchens because their is a third kitchen in the communal area.
There were 4 single beds, a double (or queen I don't remember), and two futons that sleep two people. We were a mix of people and there were no couples. One guy in our party opted to sleep in the third futon and was in the enclosed sitting area where the kitchen and hammocks were. But that futon is not included in the 10 places for people to sleep inside the villa.
It was clean. The key was left for us so we were able to check in as soon as we got off the ferry in the morning. Everything was awesome. I would definitely book again. -
