This vacation rental house is a great option for families. It has many amenities in there. I liked so much the open space plan on kitchen,dining & living, front & back balconies. It's a great house rental. I recommend for vacation in Culebra Island.

We stayed here for a week in May 2013. It was a great house, open common space with big, well-equipped kitchen, big dining table, and very comfortable living room with a bunch of couches. The place is very charming -- not fancy, very beach house, sea shells everywhere, exposed ceilings, bright colors. The deck is nice. No wifi, which can be nice for a getaway, and the cable TV provides good entertainment. The location is good but not great. It doesnt really have a beach view -- the back patio has a narrow view of a corner of the bay. It's a 40-minute walk to the main part of town and a long hour walk to Flamenco Beach. Most people rent cars in Culbera so that isnt a huge problem. There is a very small minimarket across the street which is convenient for staples (and buying water -- most visitors dont drink the tap water in Culbera). John was very communicative in the lead-up to the reservation, and Monika the property manager was very helpful when we arrived. We might try to stay closer to the beach next time or someplace with a better view, but all is all, we had a very positive comfortable stay.

In 2010 we took our first trip to the beautiful island of Culebra after visiting Puerto Rico a few times and hearing all about it. We heard from a friend about a great rental opportunity so we decided to go for it! This would end up being the greatest trip for my now husband and I because this is where he proposed to me:).. This house was located on a nice street only minutes from the beach, town etc. It was perfect for us and nice and quiet. Flamenco Beach was our favorite beach and we have traveled to so many beautiful places in the world but as far as beaches and restaurants go Culebra has it all! This house was very clean, adorable, and had a great set up. We have already booked tickets for this March and cant wait to get back to this house and the beautiful island!! We wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island it just wouldn't be the same!

My husband and I stayed at El Balcon with another couple and we absolutely fell in love with this place. It is only a few minutes away from Flamenco Beach, Zoni Beach and town in a vehicle -- we have stayed at other places on the island and we didn't like being so far away from town. The house has a huge dining room table which was great for the nights that we cooked in and an open concept so no one was "stuck" in the kitchen cooking. Clean, bright and colorful house with decks on both sides. Each couple had their own bedroom, with an air conditioner in it if you needed it. We will definitely be back.
