Casa Alta is a spacious house in the Villa Muneco area offering you full comfort. It has a 35-ft balcony where you can enjoy the scenery and the constant breeze before or after the beach. You can enjoy a BBQ meal or relax in the hammocks reading or watching hummingbirds sip sugared water from the feeders. The house is less than 10 minute from beautiful Flamenco beach and about 5 minutes from downtown. The large and private lot is surrounded by mature trees in which you will no doubt see a few iguanas spread out on the branches taking in the sun.

Our house is centrally located in Villa Muneco less than a 10-minute drive to Tamarindo Beach and famous Flamenco Beach and close to local services. It is situated on Calle Resaca. Affordable taxis and publicos are available to drive you around. If you rent a jeep or golf cart, you can park it on the street in front of the house without worry. The island of Culebra lies approximately 17 miles east of Puerto Rico, 12 miles west of St. Thomas. Its dimensions are 7 miles long (11km) and 3 1/2 miles wide (5km) .. ..and the weather is usually perfect!!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. This little house on stilts has so much charm and warmth that it really felt like home. We had a BBQ on the patio to make wonderful meals, a large backyard to watch the fascinating wildlife from iguanas to chickens to all sorts of different birds, and hammocks for the lazy mornings. The house was full equipped with everything we needed to cook as well as stocked with towels and fresh linen. The air conditioned rooms help a lot to sleep soundly and also block out the noise of the excited morning roosters. The location is a little off the beaten path but easy to find and travel to the beaches by bike, golf cart or jeep. Town is about a 20 min walk and the nearest grocery about 10 min away. This little house is a real gem and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
