Little Byre is a delightful 2 bedroomed character cottage where most windows face south and frame picture postcard views across the Cumbrian fells towards Skiddaw. It has been furnished to the highest of standards throughout, chosen to complement the charm of this traditional cottage.
The living/dining room has quality oak furniture and soft leather furnishings with a large flat-screen TV, DVD and CD player, a dining table for four and a cast-iron, living flame gas fire which is very welcome on those cooler evenings. A with a range of books, games and jigsaws are all provided for you to while away the hours if you so wish.

Little Byre is a delightful character cottage nestled in the quiet hamlet of a pretty village close to the Lake District enjoying beautiful, uninterrupted views across open countryside towards Skiddaw. It is an ideal base to discover all that the Lake District and the unspoilt Solway coast has to offer. The towns of Keswick, Cockermouth, Silloth and Whitehaven are all within easy reach offering a range of shops, art galleries, museums, markets, theatres and plenty of pubs and eating places. This is the perfect area to choose for either gentle relaxation with walks from the door or for an action packed family adventure holiday with lots to do. Go-Ape High Wire Forest Adventure, Honister Via Ferrata, gyroplanes, paragliding, canoeing, sailing and a full range of outdoor adventure activiies are all on offer within a 20 min drive. Walkers and climbers are spoiled for choice. From the high summits to forest trails and lakeside paths, there are walking and cycle routes suitable for all.

Little Byre is a small terraced cottage situated in the small village of Baggrow, Cumbria. The cottage is very cosy inside and comprises of a nice sized living room with a real effect gas fire, with a small kitchen to the rear which contains all the utensils anyone would need to prepare a family meal.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, the double room at the front is very cosy, with delightful fittings and decor, whilst the the rear bedroom is great for one child. The owner was however kind enough to fit two beds in this room for us, and although this left little floor space, the single beds were full sized and worked a treat.
Overall, the cottage is clean and well maintained, and includes a small yard at the rear which overlooks a grassed area whih was offered a really nice place to share a drink in the evening sun with Binsey and Skiddaw in the far distance.
Baggrow has a pub within a two minute walk of the cottage whilst a 15-20 min drive brings you to Kewswick, Cockermouth and many nice lakeland walks.
A nice place to spend a few days. -

Perfect. Great location for touring the lakes,lots of information on things to do in the area.Peaceful,Immaculate but still cosy. Lovely welcome pack with wine and cake!!

Lovely cottage, furnishings and equipment excellent, beautiful outlook at back of cottage where you can sit out on the patio. Really enjoyed our stay - so much we are going back again this year!

We found little Byre to be an excelent holiday cottage with all that could be needed plus the beautiful view from the rear garden plus the neighbors were 1st class we do in the near future hope to come back again (sooner rather than Later)
