Situated within the wing of a stone built, end terrace Victorian House, Dukesbury is a first floor apartment in Grange-over-Sands which has its own private entrance.     All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
    Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

      I think it is fair to say that we fell in love with Dukesbury the moment we walked in. It is beautifully decorated and equipped with lots of thoughtful touches from the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. We would have rated our stay at five stars were it not for the apparently insomniac clog-dancer staying in the apartment above, but that of course is just the luck of the draw in house conversion like this.

      Dukesbury is a beautiful apartment in a quiet location with views of the sea, but close enough to the town. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
      Highly recommended.

      Sykes Cottages' staff were very friendly & helpful in booking the accommodation.
      The owners too were very helpful & very friendly & the flat...home away from home with the tasteful but very clean & comfortable decors & the small thoughtful things left by the owners.
      Beautiful location & very friendly people in the town, especially the older people. Walking distance from all amenities - shops, pubs, restaurants, etc.
      What we liked best is that it felt like home, can't think of anything we didn't like.

      The accomodation was excellent and in a great location for the Lake Disrict where we visited. Great centre for travelling and the owners were wonderful and really helpful. Top class break.

      an excellent welcome gave the right start to a relaxing week in this old seaside town handy for the Lake District.
      A good value for money venue. Excellent local fish and chips but those who seek gourmet dining can go to Cartmel for Michelin starred L'Enclume.
      Barrow is well worth a visit for Victorian architecture and is a short train ride away.
