This wonderful log cabin is set on the edge of the village of Allithwaite and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Westmorland Lodge is a superb log cabin set on the outskirts of Allithwaite village in the Cartmel Peninsula. This all ground floor cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double with an en-suite and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with dining area, woodburning stove and French doors. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

I stayed in the lodge early February and was surprised by the high standard of furnishing and decor and the hot tub was really fantastic. It was a great location for walking and so peaceful...I'm already planning a return visit!

Stayed here over Christmas. Graet location to get away from all the hussle and bussle of London. The Lodge itself is well equipt with everything you need.The hot tub was a great addition and sitting in there Christmas morning was great.The log burner and wood supplied is great.
If you want to cook then Grange over Sands has some fantastic shops for local produce (great butchers)or the very local pub has a great menu and is very welcoming for families.
The access road is unmade bring a torch for night time walk back from pub

We had a wonderful stay in Westmorland Lodge. The scenery was lovely.The lodge istself was immaculate and beautifully furnished. We used it as a base to travel around the sights of the lakes and it was a lovely place to 'come home' to. The hot tub was FaB.

Westmorland Lodge is the ideal property to relax in comfort. The lodge is appointed to a very high standard throughout topped off with an excellent hot tub. The setting, surrounded by the coastal countryside and farm land, is lovely and is well placed to visit all of the attractions the northern Lake District has to offer. Our two terriers had a great time on the Coastal Walk and along the Grange-Over-Sands Promenade and many of the local attractions are 'dog friendly'.
