This semi-detached cottage in Bolton near Appleby sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Orchard Cottage is a cosy 400 year-old cottage in the village of Bolton neat Appleby-in-Westmorland. The cottage has a double room and a second smaller double, a family bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and an enclosed garden with lawn, patio and furniture. Orchard Cottage is close to the village amenities, and within easy reach of Appleby, Ullswater, the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales.

One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 4 miles, pub and children's play area 2 mins walk. Note: Some low beams.

Appleby is a major stop on the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway, which is one of the most beautiful railway journeys in Britain, and today many of the old steam trains still wend their way along this line and over the historic and awe-inspiring Ribblehead viaduct. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
