Amazing location with spectacular views. Lots of space (we were 7 adults plus a 1 1/2 year old) for everyone. The kitchen is great and the outdoor grill was the focus of a couple of dinners too. Spent lots of time on the deck/pool area - a nice place to relax. All in all, a wonderful place for a special vacation.

we stayed in november 2010, had an awsome time, I can not say enough about how perfect this house was, the manager Heidi was a dream to deal with and helped us with directions and told us about great places to eat. The house was clean, view was awsome, and my kids loved the pool, kids loved the fajita night at kura hulanda in town they had the best food and live music. Do not rent any other house in the area except flamingo villa, my sister did and her trip was a disaster!!!

This Villa was beautiful!!! The view was absolutely fantastic, and the house was wonderful. We never used the a/C the enitre week we were there...the breeze blowing through the house was plenty. Spent almost the enitre week in the pool and on the patio- it was so nice we didn't want to venture out much!! ( That was the only down side...we never wanted to leave). We had a minor issue with the safe ( our fault) and Cheryl returned on our call within the hour...I would go back to this villa in a heart beat!

Flamingo Villa was as advertised. We traveled with four other couples and have no regrets...only great memories. The location was perfect for a week getaway. Do research the island and get a good map before traveling as the roads are not well marked. Cas abao was by far the best beach as far as amenities (cost $6/car and $3/chair but well worth it). Sol Food restaurant highly recommended (open only Fri-Sun) in Westpunt (make reservations). If possible, utilize Heidi for food prior to arrival...its an adventure finding grocery stores when you first arrive. Rent a car!

Steve, Sounds like the villa was perfect for your large group. It can take a day to get acclimated to the island, especially after a long flight. All you want to do is get to the villa and relax and our food arrival package makes this possible. Both Cas Abou and Porto Marie are our favorite full-service beaches within easy reach. The villa is beautifully decorated and laid out. Security staff very friendly. Easy to get to activities throughout the island. The kitchen is very well equipped for just about any cooking planned.

My husband surprised me with a trip to celebrate my 30th bday and found this great place to stay along with 6 of our friends (8 people in total - 3 couples and 2 singles). This villa really is amazing - the view from the upper patio is beautiful and the infinity pool was such a treat. All the rooms & bathroom were great and the Bbqs made making dinner for 8 a breeze. The location was great - it was about a 5 minute drive to one of the most gorgeous beaches (St Marie) and a quick drive to several others.
The owners did a great job of doing what they could to help with our stay. They emailed out tons of information before we got there about what to do, places to go, activties, beaches, food, etc. There was also all this information plus more in books inside the villa as well. They also made sure that the villa had everything we needed - coolers for the beach, all kitchen supplies, beach towels, etc. No beach chairs or unbrella so bring your own if you do not want to rent these on the beaches.
You will need a car to go not only to the beaches, but the grocery stores as well as restaurants, etc. You will not be able to walk anywhere, but driving around was pretty easy.
The food on the island is ok - the best place we ate was a surprisingly amazing Lebansese place called the Green House which has the most incredible garlic sauce ever. We bought extra of that and the raw beef appetizer and brought them home to grill into delicious burgers.
This place was perfect for us - a group of 30 year olds that just wanted to hang out, relax and have a great time. Couldn't have asked for anything more. -

Flamingo Villa is perfect for a vacation stay in Curacao. The view is exceptional and the accommodations are the best. There is plenty of room for an entire family and every ammenity you could ever want. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The bathrooms are spacious. The bedrooms are totally comfortable for a wonderful night's rest. The infinity edge pool is enticing. I can't say enough things about this wonderful villa. It's easy to get around the island so even though this villa is a short distance from Willemstad, it is very easy to access every part of the island with a short drive. We had the fortune of meeting the owners who were meticulous in the design and construction of this wonderful villa. They could not have done a better job creating a wonderful vacation retreat.

We adored Flamingo Villa even before we got there. Our stay/way was made a pure delight with the ease of questions answered in advance,our very warm welcome,the beautiful dinners presented for our anniversary, our every request attended to and even a sense of being upgraded with graciousness.We continue to speak gloriously of the property manager and the gorgeous villa.We are charmed by Curacao and are conniving to find a way for a return before too much time passes.Our souls are smiling!!!

First, let me begin by saying that this villa is run by first-rate owners. They worked us into their schedule the night before we left for the island. It was a last minute decision by us to go to Curacao, and Cheryl emailed to me a wonderful packet of information on the island that covered everything from restaurants to sightseeing. I felt that my family was in good hands right from the beginning. We stayed the first two nights at the Hyatt, and then drove to "Flamingo Villa" for the next 7 days.
The entire week at the villa, it seemed like we were on an island adventure and coming home each night to our own private vessel at sea. The view makes you feel like you are on a ship with the moon and stars shining on the sea like diamonds. Each day was filled with exploring the coral reefs from different beaches, as our two teens got their certification for diving from RG Dives…..(they were superb with our 14 and 17 year old). My husband went out with other divers along with the group on excellent dives right off the shore. They saw turtles, octopus, rays, and other tropical fish and coral. The dive master caught over 16 lionfish. The villa is so perfect with the three beautiful (air conditioned) bedrooms upstairs and a wonderful breeze that flows through the villa all day. This very comfortable house, with an excellent ocean view made us feel at home right away.
The staff was very friendly and took care of everything that was needed.
The kitchen,living room etc were very well supplied. The beds were a pleasure to sleep in.

The pictures do not capture the true beauty of the place. We had a "very full house" and everyone was comfortable and enjoyed themselves immensely. The setting was perfect for all the different family members to relax and reconnect with each other. Heidi, the "property caretaker" was very responsible, had a delightful personality as well as very informative. We were a group of 12 divers and enjoyed the ease of the beach dives at the bottom of the hill and the dive center's boat dives were awesome. A couple of beautiful beaches in the area to lounge at during the day when you're not diving. That part of the island was so peaceful and beautiful. Even the type a personalities in our group finally learned relaxed...

Great time at Flamingo Villa. Party of 2 couples and 3 singles and could all have our own rooms. Plenty of space but the fund or staying together as a group. Loved the pool. We would relax in the pool as we waited for our dinner coming off the gas grill. Great location and wonderful view of the ocean. Close to diving and enjoyed night diving just off the Habitat Resort. Could even watch the under water lights of divers from the villa. Plan to come back again.

We truly loved staying in your home. It is perfect for multiple families to stay in because you never feel crowded. The view was spectacular and everything was within close driving distance. Our children loved the pool which gave the parents time to relax. The island was wonderful. Very clean and reasonably priced. Lots of beautiful coves to visit, each with it's own feel and view.

Flamingo Villa has set a new standard for our group by which we will judge all future accomodations. As 6 divers we admittedly splurged a bit on lodging budget over what we usually spend, but the pictures on the website made us fall in love. There are not a lot of restaurants nearby like we are used to in Bonaire, but the restaurant at Habitat just down the hill from Flamingo was fantastic and other nights we popped in to the California Supermarket picked up some kabobs or steaks to throw on the large grill on the backporch and just enjoyed the wonderful view from Flamingo. We rented just the top floor for 3 couples and Heidi (the housekeeper and cook-for-hire) should be commended for keeping the place in great shape. Flamingo is in the gated community of Coral Estates which is beautiful as a whole, but we were glad to be several blocks back from the ocean and UP the hill for several reasons. The view is first reason, the pictures on seen on the web are not professional or retouched - the view from the porch or in the infinity pool is really that wonderful. The second reaon, and possibly even more important to some, is the lack of bugs. We left the front and back doors open every minute we were there and always had a cooling, bug-free, strong breeze. Whenever we went down to Habitat and ate on the water there were little flies and when we traveled to Westpunt resorts to dive everyone complained about mosquitos...we had no nasty bugs at our elevation.
I cannot thank Cheryl (one of the owners) enough for all her emails and the massive amounts of travel info and tips she sent us beforehand. All her recommendations helped us plan well and make the most of our week in her fantastic home.
If you are used to condos and apartments like we were, Flamingo will leave you feeling spoiled rotten...but then again, that's kinda the point of a vacation, right ?? :) -

Our stay at flamigo villa was very nice. we loved the view and the house was clean. The only thing we had to do was clean the shower drain. (yuck) The master bedroom shower would not drain because of all the hair clogged in it. Was not our favorite thing to do but afer we did it the water flowed down smoothly.
Good thing the kitchen was in working order. The food on Curacao was not very good at all, and quite pricey.

Great location for a vacation. House has everything you would want. If you enjoy cooking there is everything you need, quality of cookware is top of the line. Service from Don ( the property manager) was top notch, and Hedi makes sure you are sleeping on clean sheets in a great enviroment. Cheryl was responsive to all our questions leading up to our rental dates and has great follow-up during rental. Security staff at main gate was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very safe. I will definitely go back to Curacao and would rent again if I have a large group.

This was my fourth visit to the island and, while I have enjoyed them all, this was by far the best. It was a family reunion and we mostly enjoyed just hanging out on the deck. Although, we did hit Mambo Beach and St. Marie Beach regularly and enjoyed the retaurant at Westpunt (Yancee's?) where we jumped off the cliff. Next year we hope to meet up with Captain Goodlife if he ever shows up at his place.
We enjoyed the villa immensely. -

This villa exceeded everything that was advertised. The photos were very accurate with the exception of the sunset. The sunsets were even more beautiful in person!! The home was located in a beautiful, quiet, gated community. The home was immaculately clean and was equipped with every modern convenience. The pool built into the deck was also clean and well maintained. The information provided in the home's advertisement along with the photos is what inspired us to select this villa. Cheryl, one of the co-owners, provided a wealth of information about Curacao which was very helpful during our stay. She maintained excellent contact with us throughout the rental process and during our weeklong visit. If you choose to rent this property, you will not be disappointed! We would like to go back to Curacao and would certainly hope to rent this same villa again.
