Picture yourself sitting on the front porch of this cozy log cabin looking out at the peaceful meadow on a warm summber day, biking or hiking on the Mickelson Trail (which is accessible from the cabin) or after a day of adventures just enjoy relaxing.
Our little cabin is nestled in a prime recreation area which includes the opportunity for sight seeing, fishing, hoseback riding, and cycling. Conveniently located between Hill City and Custer. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, covered deck, sofa sleeper, and laundry facilities.

Additional notes from owner
A 50% deposit is required at the time a reservation is booked. (Reservations over Holidays and Special Events are non-refundable please see information below). Matkins Realty accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, Money Order or Personal Checks. (all Reservations require a credit card on file and the credit must not expire prior to arrival). The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival and a reminder is sent to the guest 15 days prior to due date. Guest will be charged the balance due on the due date if no prior payment arrangements are made. Guests will be contacted in the event of a declined credit card if no response is received within 48 hours this will result in forfeiture of any previously held deposits and cancellation of the reservation. Cancellations are assessed a $50 fee. No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline. Guests are required to complete rental agreement.

Three of us stayed here for 4 nights during our recent trip to the Black Hills, and it was perfect for our needs. The rental service was very nice and easy to work with. The cabin was cozy without being crowded and had a rustic feel with very modern conveniences. The location was good for everything we wanted to see, and we did sightseeing from Hot Springs to Devil's Tower. I would definitely try to stay here again if I am fortunate enough to return to the Black Hills someday.

We stayed here for one week and really enjoyed it. It is very private and has everything we required for a very relaxing week. It is halfway between Custer and Hill City just off the highway. Very close to everything we wanted to visit. Everything was clean and plenty of cooking utensils. Beds are very comfortable and management company was easy to contact and very responsive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes privacy with very nice accommodations.
