In all of Switzerland, the region of Valais is where you'll have the least amount of rainfall and the most amount of sunshine and coincidentally enough, it's also where you'll find this vacation house! Probably the most picturesque picnic spot available, this rental accommodation in Nendaz has outdoor furnishings great for the outdoor dining experience. As you're gazing at the surrounding mountains and valleys, you'll be happy you chose to do something unique and spend the holidays in Switzerland!

This detached chalet has great views of the mountains and valleys, especially from the private terrace or garden. The private garden has a ba...rbecue, stone table with bench seating, and a landscaped yard. An individual garage is available for parking although snow chains are necessary in winter.

Ground floor: There is a combined living and dining room with couches, a fireplace, cable TV, DVD player, and a table with chairs. This room also has access to the terrace. The open kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, and dishwasher. There is one bedroom with a 180 cm king-sized bed and one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

First floor: There is one bedroom with a 180 cm king-sized and one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub.

Second floor: There is an open loft with a library and one bedroom with a 180 cm king-sized bed.

The property is located 200 meters from a ski run, 500 meters from a restaurant, and one kilometer from the center of Nendaz. Nendaz is a resort village with shops, restaurants, markets, a post office, bank, and fitness center. In summer, there are beautiful hiking trails that go through orchards in the valley, up through the mountains and from June to October, a cable car can take you up where you'll have panoramic views. During the winter, it'll be nice to know that Nendaz is within Les Quatre Vallées [the Four Valleys] ski region and features hundreds of kilometers of ski runs and snowboard tracks as well as an ice rink and ski school. A short drive to Sion would be an excellent choice for a day trip for not only is it the capital of the Valais, but it's also the third largest wine making region in Switzerland. The main sites include the Valère Basilica and the Chateau de Tourbillon, both offering gorgeous views.

  A wonderful chalet which is well-maintained, comfortable, convenient to a charming town with great restaurants, with an outstanding VIEW.

  NOTHING! Everything was perfect.
  
  Wonderful place to hike and walk. The BISSE VIEUX irrigation canal built in the 1600 offered a relatively flat walk around the mountains and afforded splendid views along with the babbling water. It has an access about 800 feet from the chalet. Many other walks are available ranging from easy to challenging. A ski lift is within walking distance and you can lift up and chose a number of walks down.
