We stayed here for two weeks. The condo is just as lovely as the pictures suggest. The owners are attentive and nearby. The setting is wonderful. If you don't walk on the beach every morning, you should be ashamed of yourself. Dana Point and the nearby beach communities have plenty of nice places to eat.

We loved everything about the condo and the location. It is a spacious 2 bedroon with all the amenties of home -much better than cramming a family of 4 into a hotel room. There was a gas grill, which we used to grill fresh fish we bought at the harbour. It was a block away from Strand Park, where I ran each morning, and my family watched sunsets in the evening. The pool was large and heated, and the condo had noodles and boogie boards. Orange County is really beautiful and was a great combination of R&R; and fun activities. I highly recommend going to San Juan Capistrano, a small historic town bordering Dana Point with great little shops, restaurants and a cute park.

It's hard to beat comfortable and spacious surroundings, a workable kitchen, a luscious pool and two jacuzzis. But wait...ocean view from the living room, one of the two patios and one of the bedrooms is included as well. And the owners are just about the nicest, most conscientious people one could hope to meet.

Very clean and comfortable condo. We had all the amenities that we needed to be comfortable The owners were very congenial and near by. The ocean views were spectacular and we had easy access to the beach. Pool area was very nice and convenient to the condo. We will look forward to returning again next year.

Three things we liked about our stay - you couldn't beat the location in relation to the beach, easy access to the public beach and a terrific beach at that. Secondly, in addition to being extremely clean and quiet, the condo had everything - the little things that make a difference - such as beach chairs, every imaginable utensil in the kitchen, computer, etc. Third, great overall location, closer to Dana Point - but still just down the road from Laguna Beach. A hidden gem and a great value.

Our favorite things about this condo unit:
very comfortable master bed;
comfortable furniture;
a thousand small conveniences (e.g., dish soap, detergent, toiletries, family-friendly Dvds, beach/pool towels, coffee pot/filters, grinder & beans);
hassle free keyless entry;
spot-on restaurant recommendations;
quick and easy to make this unit toddler-friendly
lovely partial ocean view;
great location within the community (e.g., upper unit, quiet at night, convenient parking space, convenient pool/jacuzzi access);
Our favorite things about the community:
Convenient location (e.g., easy walk to the stunning Strand, short easy drive to Salt Creek Beach park, Gelsons market and the wonderful Dana Point restaurants)
Very nice heated pool/jacuzzi
One sad note:
Unfortunately from an environmental and surfing perspective, it rained hard enough during our March stay to trigger county/regional warnings regarding ocean-water-quality. Fortunately, we understand that such rains are relatively infrequent and note that the Strand is situated so as to remain relatively clean nevertheless (e.g., not near a river mouth or sewage spot).
On the whole, we thoroughly enjoyed Dana Point and the condo, which we believe was also a great value in light of the location, view, amenities and convenience. The condo owners clearly care about this unit and their guests. This was a truly seamless vacation experience (even with a two-year-old)

We stayed in the Headlands II condo in Dana Point for our first vacation in a couple of years. I did extensive research on condos in the San Diego to Huntington Beach area, and felt that this condo offered the most in terms of location, affordability, and features. We were not disappointed in the least. Everything from ease of checking in, access to beach, pool, grocery and restaurants, to amenities within the condo, made this a great choice. Having the washer/dryer made life so much easier for us, especially since we were traveling with our 4 and 1 yr. old boys. Also, the grill was a great convenience, since we wanted to take advantage of the local seafood. We appreciated having lots of little things in the kitchen, such as teas and coffee, sweeteners, seasonings, etc.
We were a little concerned about going back and forth to the beach, as there are about 180 steps down to the ocean, but even with the two boys it was not a problem. The beach was very clean and wide, the waves are big, but my 4 year old had even more fun at the condo's pool.
We were there during record-breaking heat in So. Cal. which made us more aware of the lack of a ceiling fan in the second bedroom. Despite the heat, however, we were never uncomfortable in the condo, as there was always a nice breeze.
We would recommend this condo without hesitation! -

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Front. As a family with boys it was great for us to have two separate bed rooms with separate bath rooms as well as excellent kitchen facilities and dinning in-house. The patio with BBQ is also a plus.
Great pool, fine parking, walking distance to the beach, beautiful ocean view. Good shopping and eating nearby. All in all a great place, that we can recommend varmly.

This is a large comfortably furnished condo with great ocean view. The owner was very accommodating and helpful about informing me of points of interest, restaurants, beaches,etc. The condo is located near Dana Point Harbor, which has fun shopping and great restaurants. Of course, ocean, ocean everywhere you look. Loved it!! I really missed having air-conditioning as there was a heat-wave going on when I was there. The Laguna Beach Art Festival is a must to attend. I was disappointed that the lift to the beach wasn't operating as I was unable to navigate all those stairs.
