A Fantastic, beautiful , incredible, romantic place with breath taking sunset views.
Eileen, the owner, went out of her way to assist us pre-arrival with all kinds of information, when we arrived she had made a folder especially designed for our needs ( places to dine, buy certain kind of foods, jazz bars etc.
excellent communication before booking, straight forward, caring and thinking along..parking on site.
The pictures on their sight don't right to the real thing, the real thing is a lot better!!
Incredible views, nice fire place, romantic and inspiring.
Well equipped kitchen and terras grill to dine under the moonlight.
Comfy bed and great shower and bathtub.
We booked the apartment to celebrate our anniversary and it became a second honeymoon...

We were instantly impressed with the responsivness and professionalism of the owners.
Upon arrival we were met by Eileen who showed us around the property. We were amazed by the views. The quality of the furnishing and linens was evident and that really shows how much care and pride the owners take in this property. It was very clean and everything worked. The outdoor space at the rear of the property is great - amazing grill.
Everything during our stay was perfect - we did not want to leave! The owners know they have a good product and charge accordingly. With that said, they take great care of the place. This was our first visit to Orange County, Ca. My husband found this property on Tripadvisor and some other websites. Impressed by the reviews and photographs, he contacted the owner. She was extremely responsive and professional. We went ahead and booked 3 nights.
The views from the front deck are simply breathtaking. The apartment was extremely well appointed with furniture and comfortable beds. Everything had been thought about and even things like the quality of the linens was first class. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, the BBQ is fantastic too.
I agree with previous comments that this could have been a very different vacation if there had been noisy neighbors. We were fortunate that of the 4 units in the property, only ours was occupied so it was very quiet. I would be cautious returning if there were guests directly next door as the balcony at the front is only separated by a waist-height divider. I also don't believe it is owned by the same people, so I am not sure how noise complaints would be handled.
I also would caution travellers with mobility issues to consider the location of this unit. The door is access by a steep and quite narrow set of stairs. Furthermore, the beach is access by a ramp/slope and then many many stairs. The views are however worth it!
In terms of value for money, the owners know that they have a world-class product and charge accordingly. It isn't cheap, but as they say...you get what you pay for. It would be nice if there was some kind of discount offered for returning guests, just as a gesture to encourage loyalty.
Overall, a very nice property and somewhere we would consider returning to in the future. The owners take great pride in their business and this shines through in the quality of the accommodation and their responsiveness.Response from SPECTACULAR OCEANFRONT !!! WORLD CLASS VIEW !! - 10/24/2012

The location as you say provides one of the Best Oceanfront Views there is at any location. We also have provided our guests with only the best in accommodations & amenities. I am so glad you appreciate our efforts.
It is also nice that there are only 4 units in the building & it is our job as owners to make sure that our guests are not bothered in any way.
The other owners in the building are also very cooperative & feel the same way. I agree that our guest need to be reasonably fit & able to enjoy the condo location & surrounding resort beach area and so far no one has had a problem in that area. We certainly enjoyed having you as our special guests & look forward having you back as return guests at a future date!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this spectacular oceanfront vacation property. The views are magnificent and truly world class! The condo was very clean and furnished with every thing we needed for the week. All you need is food and some good wine. We played golf and tennis all week. The weather was wonderful. We'll be back next year!

This was a really nice condo.
The positives:
--the View (yes that deserves a capital V)
--Well-stocked kitchen and beach toys
--Comfortable, clean
--Owners were great to work with
The negatives
--Access to the condo and beach involves steep ramps and quite a few steps. If you're with someone who has difficulty with steps, be warned
--There are quite a few home lots under construction in the area... construction noise for the next year or so, I'd imagine
--We had a bit of difficulty with noise at night (neighbors) and in the morning (gardeners)
--Perhaps it is just me, but I feel 150 bucks is steep for a cleaning fee -

This was one of the best stays I've had at a rental property. The unit is in very good condition and was comfortable for all four of us. As many others have commented, the view is fantastic. Finally, the beach near the property is very nice - not too crowded and some of the best water and surfing waves in the area.
Only potential weakness is that it is one of four units in the building and the back decks are all very close to each other. This is only an issue if you have loud/rowdy neighbors when you are there (we did not). It definitely helps that this unit is on the top floor. -

We travel a lot renting homes and condos along the way. We've had good and not so good (homework is the key). This home is really good. The home was in perfect shape. You could tell there is pride in owership here. Amazing view, great decks front and back, wonderful outdoor grill, comfortable beds, nice computer station and a well stocked kitchen. We had the whole four unit complex to ourselves this visit. If we would have had neighbors in the unit next to us we would have had a little less privacy on the front deck, but that would not stop us from coming back. Much less expensive staying in Dana Point rather than in Laguna. That's what brought us to this location.

It was a home away from home for my family and I. The owners (Eileen and her husband)had thought of and equipped the place with every necessity.
The view is to die for. The beach is sandy and very well kept.
My family and I can hardly wait to visit again as soon as possible.

We have rented homes all over the world. We've seen the good , bad and ugly.
This unit is truly one of the best we have seen. The view is really ,really world class -- we lived in Switzerland for six years, so we know world class.
The location is great, the unit is very well furnished and stocked, the new bath is wonderful and the owners are very responsive to any of your needs -- as well as very nice folk.
This was our third year and we will rent for a month next year.
Try it -- you will not be disappointed. -

We spent 7 days in a simply beautiful condo with every available luxury. If your looking for comfort, high end condo features, spectacular sunset views of the pacific and Catalina island this is your spot. Perched on the top of Dana Point with a paved pathway to the beach and miles of sand to walk on. Watch the suirfers below every morning while enjoying your coffee and breakfast on the deck with glass railing. Safe, parking, all the beach toys provided, close to everything. This was truly a fantastic place to stay and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend this unit.
