Enjoy the best beaches Dana Point has to offer while surrounding you with style and luxury. Conveniently located between the Ritz Carlton, St. Regis & Montage resorts, this 5-star condominium has a lot to offer. The condo is in a great location, San Diego is a one-hour drive South, while Newport Beach is a 20 minute drive North from our condo; Disneyland is about 35 minutes (Northeast) and downtown Los Angeles is a one-hour drive North. Our freeway system in Southern California is very easy to navigate and our condo is really easy to get to from either LAX or San Diego airport. We are 20 minutes from John Wayne (SNA) airport.

My husband and I live in rainy England - and to arrive at this beautiful condo filled with California adventures packed in pictures/ beautiful decor and in a lovely surroundings was unexpected. We were comfortable with all the amenenities provided. Our walks along the gorgeous beach with our coffee admiring the spectacular cliff views were breathtaking. There were plenty of wonderful resturants along the seacoast to enjoy and perfect location point to see all the sights.

We were invited to a wedding at the St. Regis Hotel but did not want to spend a million dollars for lodging. We also wanted a place where we could spend quality time together with the other couple with whom we traveled, in a common area--i.e., not awkwardly sitting on hotel beds.
Bandit's cove was the perfect environment; it allowed us time together: cooking in the clean, sunny kitchen, hanging out watching tv in the living room, and we were within 2 miles of the wedding! I recommend it to anyone.
I was very hesitant and looking for honest reviews, so here goes. Neighbors complained that we were too noisy on arrival. Though there are two beds and two baths, it is a quaint and small place. And finally, due to construction and my unfamiliarity with la, it took us 2 hours to get here from the airport at 1 a.m. (It took us less far less to return).

This is an exceptional value and every detail was thought of. Great location and the unit was the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The weather was perfect and beach beautiful. Mike was so helpful and gave us fantastic suggestions of places to eat and attractions to see. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for making our anniversary so special, we feel like we have a new friend in California now!

My husband had skin cancer and prefers to be under an umbrella or tree or inside. On the other hand, I love to be in the sun with darker skin and my son and grandchildren love the sun as well. Every year we have our own vacation and one for the entire family and Grandma has to find the perfect place. This year I was quite ill for a year and insisted on going back to Ca where my parents took me to live for one year in El Cajon. I gave no one a choice,said I'd use my retirement funds if I had to or go alone, but was going, so I was the only "oh, I can't wait" to go of the whole gang. Guess what? I won!!! Everyone loved the warmth, no humidity, Dan loved the long walks on those breezy days and although we spent a fortune on two dinners up on the hill (sorry memory is shot for names), the food was more than delicious and we were all thankful to have two real treats and eat the rest of our meals in the Condo. I can only speak for myself (Grandma) but I'd go back in a heartbeat...Thank you God, I am so blessed and my health improved because of the climate.

The unit presented itself as advertised. The extra homey touches provided were greatly appreciated. Loved having washer & dryer. A small vacumn cleaner would have been handy. Mattress in master bedroom was not the most comfortable but all other beds were great. Location was perfect for the beach, shopping and Legoland. Would definitly go again. Mike was patient with our questions, informative, and timely.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday staying at Bandits Cove. Were from the UK and after an 11 hours flight we were thrilled to arrive at the well decorated and spotlessly clean condo. It's well equiped and has everything you could possibly need whilst your away. The kind owners had left us cookies and local strawberries, which we thought was great! My 2 sons aged 4 and 8 loved the pool area, they made lots of friends and had a great time. The pool never gets overly busy as the beach is a stones throw away, so always very relaxing. Dana point is beautiful, especially the harbour -breath taking! There's lots of grocery stores, shops and restaurants within a short drive. We especially enjoyed Irvine Spectrum, with great shops and a lovely little water area where all the local parents with their young children play in the water fountain - my kids loved it! Disney land is about 40 minutes away, and universal takes just over an hour. We visited both and had an amazing time and was sad to have to leave.

We arrived at the condo to find delicious chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. The condo was very fresh, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being close to Hwy 1 and the beach. There are great restaurants, grocery stores and shopping just minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

My two teen-agers and I traveled from Michigan to Dana point for a vacation. Kind of a graduation present for my son. We were thrilled with Bandit's Cove! It was very comfy and we felt at home. We were able to go to the pool and beach with minimal effort and at the end of the day, relax with a movie and gear up for another day. It was very quiet and just what we needed. The beach is so beautiful. We would often just go down there and watch the surfers. We nearly had the pool and hot tubs to ourselves. We made several day trips. Two trips to the San Diego area, two trips to Newport Beach, one trip to Hollywood. Dana Point is right in the middle. The perfect location. Even if you don't want to take the side trips, there's plenty to experience right there. We highly recommend Bandit's Cove and hope to return...maybe for my daughter's graduation!!

The condo was comfortable with all amenities available. Decor nautical theme was well done and attractive which made the condo a very comfortable second home for a month. One concern is that several cooking utensils, silverware and glassware had apparently not been cleaned is some time. The condo owners were welcoming and attentive to our needs.

This condo at Dana Point, Ca was more than we dreamed about. It was impecable clean and modern. The two bathrooms were ideal for 3 teenagers and 2 adults. Centrally located between San Diego and la, it was convenient to both cities as day drives. The beach itself was clean and friendly. The Hardy's were extremely friendly and informative. I have already recommended this condo to our friends and family.

Of the vacation rentals we have stayed in, this was at the top. Location is everything, and the condo was perfectly located within a two minute walk to the beach. It lies in a well kept condominium complex, and is well placed. It is away from traffic and noise, and still very close to the large pool complex. It was exquisitely clean and well decorated. New appliances in a beautiful kitchen. Well stocked pantry with basic cooking supplies. The condo has two decks that overlook tropical plantings, and there are plenty of beach toys and supplies like towels, chairs, even a cooler. We enjoyed taking a beach walk each morning before breakfast, and walking down again to watch the sunsets. We did almost all of our own cooking, but there are plenty of restaurants a short drive away. Hiking, beautiful beaches, tide pools, the Marine Institute are all at your fingertips. Our favorite outing was a whale watching charter boat ride from the marina (10 minutes away). We saw 3 whales, dolphins, sea lions, and tons of sea birds feeding. The owner responded quickly to a call about a hot water problem and it was rapidly resolved. Our 8 year old daughter loved the condo kids room- she slept in a different bed each night and had her own TV and DVD player. The master bedroom was large and comfortable, again with it's own TV. It was very convenient to have a washer, dryer and laundry supplies on hand. There were no dirty clothes to haul home! We would definitely stay in this vacation rental again!

We were entirely satisfied with our stay at Niguel Beach Terrace. The Dana Point location was ideal...halfway between L.A. and SanDiego. We felt welcomed by the Hardy's and the phone call to make sure that everything was 'in order' was appreciated. The condo and the complex met the expectations we had from viewing the website, and all of our children enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location and the beach exceeded our expectations...absolutely beautiful! Even after exploring a number of beaches over the week we still found that the beach just down the path from our condo was the one that we loved. Thanks for the memories! We would not hesitate to recommend the "Bandit's Cove" condo to anyone.

We won't! We LOVED the Hardy's residence in Dana Point and we usually stay at top notch hotels. It is all in the details with these two... chocolate chip cookies and water upon arrival; categorized DVD inventory list; impeccable cleanliness; and a sweet phone call near the end of our stay to make a personal inquiry on our stay. When will you ever feel this cared for and loved at a hotel!? Thank you M & M! We're coming back!!

My family stayed in this gorgeous condo for Christmas. We stayed for 3 weeks. The condo was well appointed. I like to cook and the kitchen had top appliance and beautiful granite counter tops and with all the cooking supplies I needed to make a wonderful Christmas meal. We enjoyed are walks on the beach and took lots of pictures of the sunsets. We will remember out trip to Bandit’s Cove for many years."
