Large lakefront chalet on quiet, uncrowded Chazy Lake, located in the northern Adirondack Park. The lake is approx. 4 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide at its widest point. It is near the tourist attractions of Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Plattsburgh, and only 1 1/4 hours drive from Burlinton, VT and Montreal, QC. The all glass front home is roomy and airy, nicely furnished, and has a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, and large deck overlooking the lake offering beautiful views and sunsets. I had the pleasure of a week at the Snopkowski's lovely home on Chazy Lake this past week. The beauty of the lake, Mt Lyon and the wild life, in addition to the excellent accomodations made for a peaceful week to recharge my batteries. It was a pleasure to listen to the lake lapping at the shore day and night. Floating, boating and swimming in the cool lake water was divine. The "neighborhood" was so quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Taking daily walks was rejuvenating. Lounging at the lakeside reading was another favorite activity. If one is inclined to sight see, there is plenty of that as well. I will be returning again next summer and hope to make it an annual trip as it was just so lovely and relaxing!

This is the greatest place to spend a week with your family. We have been coming up since 2005
with 2 grand children daughter and her husband.
Very private, great swimming, super clean and well maintained. Nice ride up 87 thru the mountains .Can hear loons on lake. Where can you get 3 bedrooms 2 bathes full kitchen great deck and a great sunset. Tv large great room. Right after the first of the year the grand children ask when are we going to Chazy lake. Just bring food and your self and you will be back every year. Your do not even know any body is around. I would say if you are looking for a great time away from home this is the place. Rich and wife are great to deal with. Ps will be up this year also 2011

I have been lucky enough to have been a guest of the Snopkowski's for the past 3 years. They make sure the house is always very clean and comfortable when you arrive, with fresh bedding, towels, plenty of blankets, kitchen wares, satellite TV , etc. The house is roomy and well laid-out- It's truly a special place complete with hummingbirds and chipmunks outside.
The lake and the area are just awesome. If you want some peace, seclusion and fresh air, you've come to the right place! Great biking and hiking too.
And it's so nice to wake to the quiet sounds of the loons on the lake, instead of a traffic jam! Thank you for the great memories Rich & family.
