A stone's throw from the rim trail, this 1500 square foot mountain cabin offers beautiful views of mountain area. A large deck with gas grill and fire pit in the yard make our house a dream for families and couples alike. While houses are fairly close on either side of the property, the neighbors seldom come up here, so it keeps the house relatively secluded. The interior was renovated in 2011 and decorated in in a classic fishing motif, with ceramic tile floors, a chef's kitchen and an open floor plan for entertaining groups. Resort in the clouds, was the original name for this Mount Nebo. Visitors usually stayed two weeks for RNR hiking to the six spring trails for the fountains of youth. Three childrens parks with play ground equipment and a water slide pool. The roads are paved and the driveway turn around is gravel. Sign on mail box reads Cabin in Clouds and to get the directions on your GPS put in Mt Nebo State Park.

Left on 02/06/2011 for a stay in January 2011
We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. Our kids (both over 20) definitely want to come back. We had comfortable accommodations, toasty fireplace, and lovely location. Kids were in the loft area. One bathroom was a challenge, but do-able. We played games, watched Dvds, made s'mores and relaxed.
