Southport UKImpressive accommodation you will not want to leave!
Left on 12/03/2012 for a stay in November 2012
If you are planning a trip to Darwin and want all the convenience of your own home away from home, then look no further then this Executive Suite apartment located within the hotel Mantra Pandanas on Knuckey Street.
The apartment, located on the 23rd floor of the hotel and reached by key fob security operated lifts, offers the visitor to Darwin a level of sophistication and luxury you will not believe!
On opening the door of this apartment, you will be astonished at the view that greets you as you look out across Darwin harbour from a spacious balcony off the main lounge area. The fitted kitchen has been equipped with a large oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan, large fridge-freezer, and an assortment of cooking utensils and pans to allow gourmet meals to be prepared with ease. There is also a micro-wave oven built into the peninsular island bench, equipped with 2 sinks and a dishwasher is incorporated into this unit.
To the side of this area is a laundry room fitted with modern appliances to wash and tumble-dry your clothes, with every concievable cleaning aid to keep the entire apartment spotless.
There are 2 bathrooms, each fitted with a toilet and walk in showers and a hand basin, complemented by deep pile fluffy towels to wrap yourself in after a shower.
The master bedroom boasts a really comfortable king size bed with high quality linen and bedding, adorned with multi coloured cushions to set the scene, and all rooms have efficient air conditioners and ceiling mounted fans to keep you cool.
The main lounge is vast with 2 settees and a coffee table to relax whilst watching TV on a Sony large screen TV with free austar to expand the range of programmes available. There is also a blue-ray player for DVD playback.
The lounge area also features a dining table area with 6 chairs, adjacent to the food preparation area, and here all the family can meet and enjoy relating the activities of the day to each other, whilst enjoying a meal.
The primary attraction of this apartment is the easy close access to supermarkets, both Coles and Woolworths are a 10 minute walk away from the hotel, and supplies are readily available on a daily basis from early in the morning until 11.00 p.m.
The Mitchell Street restaurant Precinct and Smith Street shopping Mall are also within easy walking distance, with access to a selection of shops offering a wide variety of items for sale.
You will not be short of interesting sites to visit and explore, and the harbour front area offers a wave pool and other attractions too numerous to mention.
On site within the Hotel Mantra Pandanas is Table Forty Three, serving buffet breakfasts, with a tempting menu of modern australian cuisine which can be enjoyed either inside the restaurant or al-fresco if you feel like a change from cooking in the apartment.
The added featured bonus of a car with this package offers visitors an opportunity to explore the many local areas and further afield, limited only by the daily allowance of 100Km, however you will have so much to see and do in Darwin that the car will not be used every day and this will permit journeys of a longer duration to be undertaken, for example to Litchfield Park.
We carried a Tom Tom navigation system with us to simplify the travel planning, and also to add additional safety to each journey in unfamiliar territory, and I would recommend this added feature to simplify your travel arrangements. The device will log the distances involved in a trip and provide a useful measure of the time required for the travel planned.
Distances in the Top End are vast, and you must not under-estimate the time factor involved in visiting a region which looks close by on a map, for in reality these distances are quite extensive and need to be carefully planned in advance.
With the supplied car, a Toyota Corolla 5 door saloon, the distances travelled were made in complete comfort and safety, and visits to Palmerston and the locally held markets proved to be a great success.
This apartment provides you everything you could possibly need, in a sophisticated and comfortable environment. There is also a barbeque located on the balcony for the more adventurous, and the balcony area offers sweeping views of Darwin harbour which will both intrigue and fascinate you daily, if you can find a spare few moments to sit and watch the world go by.
A superb find by any reference standards you care to use. My wife and I found the apartment to be very spacious, however a larger family group may prefer a 3 bedroom version of the same apartment. You will not want to leave, it will become you own home, such is the magic of this perfect place in the Sun. -

South MelbourneTerrific Stay, really great accommodation.
Left on 10/24/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We had a terrific stay at the Darwin Executive apartments. It was really great accommodation; comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.
Having access to the car was also a huge bonus, we only used it twice for a few short drives but being from out of town and not knowing the public transport having the car to zip to meetings (rather than hiking in the heat) was greatly appreciate.
Looking forward to booking with you again when we're next in town for work which is likely to be approx. once every 4 months.

Sydney, AustraliaGreat location and close to everything.
Left on 08/27/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The apartment was in a great location. You could walk to restaurants and the mall. Having a car was fantastic for touring around Darwin. The apartment had everything you would ever need. It even had a BBQ on the balcony. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Hopefully we can return for another trip and see more of the Northern Territory. The only small issue was the directions to get the key was sent too late and we had no access to the email when we first arrived in Darwin. This information could have been sent the day before.

Left on 01/29/2012 for a stay in July 2011
We really enjoyed our stay at Darwin Executive apartments. After 10 days camping around Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield we felt that we were in heaven! Beds with sheets, the kids having their own space and plenty of opportunity to relax either at the pool, lying on a bed to read, sitting on the porch with a drink or with a short stroll around town or down to the wave pool. It was great to be so close to town and we did only wish we could have had more time to enjoy the apartment.
