Lake Wilson Preserve is a brand new subdivision of just 96 homes all in a Mediterranean style with a Spanish tiled roof and block paved driveway. The estate is set on and surrounded by conservation land, some properties over-look small lakes. Situated on the corner of Old Lake Wilson Road and County Road 532 it is only ten minutes to Disney.
On top of this only a few minutes away are the unlimited dining and entertainment venues on the US 192. - Access to the I4 is only 2 miles away making it an easy commute to Orlando International, Tampa or Sanford airports.

The villa was very nice clean and tidy. As mention in an another review, pool side furniture was a bit of let down. Could of had more chairs as villa accommodates 10 people and sun loungers didn't, have covers and air con was a bit noisy at night at first. Villa was spacious and had free wi-fi Internet and international landed line call which was useful. The location was excellent, about 10 miles from Disney parks and about 16 - 20 miles to universal studios on the interstate 4 (i4), sea world is a bit closer. It also only took us 55 minutes to get to Busch gardens north- east of Tampa on the i4. We had a very nice vacation in Florida. Everything went smooth from flights to car hire to accommodation. We did this holiday through Thomas cook it was a very good holiday in nice villa.

We had an excellent holiday in the nice Villa and everything worked out well. However the villa was advertised by Thomas Cook in the UK as superior, this was our 5th rental in Florida and this was definitely not superior to any we had hired before. Just the little things were not right. Hard plastic cheap seats by the pool. Not particularly comfortable sofa in living room, no bar-b-q in the villa. No cushions on the sun-loungers. None of these things spoilt our holiday, but they are definitely not indications of a 'superior'. Lake Wilson was excellent, very quiet, and great location close to Interstate 4. We timed the drive to Disney as 13 minutes from leaving the park to handbreak on outside the front door. Also worth mentioning Contempo, who were efficient, friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a couple of minor problems with some interior fittings which were repaired quickly and efficiently.

Home was in a fabulous location, very quiet but with only a short drive to the Disney Parks. The house was extremely clean and well equiped. A few draw backs was the inability to switch off the air conditioning, the telephone answering machine was so complicated i couldn't retreive the messages and there were no cleaning clothes or washing up liquid.
Apart from those minor points the pool was great and we had a fantastic time. I would recommend this property to family and friends.Response from Contempo Florida Holidays - 02/17/2009

Thanks so much for taking the time to review your stay. As you have experienced, our air-conditioning controls are covered, mainly to prevent accidental freezing of the units, when the temperature is lowered too much. We can however, adjust the temperature if requested at the time, as we do not wish customers to be uncomfortable during their stay. Our house information books now also contain details of the answering system operation, following feedback we received from guests, which we do appreciate. As homes are self-catering, we do not supply dish detergent only a start-up supply of bathroom tissue, shampoo and conditioner. I know that despite these minor points, you had a great time and we do hope you will return in the near future.

We have used Contempo for a villa holiday in florida three years previously so we knew that we could expect a good level of service. The arrival directions are really explicit and we found our keys and our villa really easily even in the dark.
the villa was spacious and clean, our only critisism was that for a party of seven there were only six dining chairs and two usable poolside chairs.
other than this the place was great, easy access to disney, shops and malls.
we would definitely recommend the company and will be using them again. The staff at the registration office are so pleasant and helpful, they can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable.
