We were 6 gals from the east coast celebrating a 40th - we stayed at Villa Corinne for 4 nights/5 days. The villa is large and decorated wonderfully. It is right on the beach with easy access to local restaurants! The staff was fabuolous - they stocked our fridge before we arrived and helped with taxi's during our stay. The gazebo and pool are incredible. We will definitely be back!

Often an island experience can be met with a "one-in-many tourist" feel. This is anything but. The geographic location and solitude once there, for a beachfront property, cannot be matched by many. On this trip, you can be as solitary as desired, but when some engagement is sought, also have a couple great local (inclusive of finer dining) restaurants within walking distance.
This experience approached perfection.
While on my stay, I learned that this owner has a townhouse within the same community as well. I was able to take a tour. Same style, incredible bayfront view, still only about 300-400ft from the beach, and (if this is a need/desire) more economical. For a larger family vacation getaway, it could be a perfect idea to rent both the beachfront Villa as well as the bayfront property. -

Wow wow wow - what a place and what an island!!! To say that we loved our time at Corinne's Villa and loved our vacation on St. Martin is an understatement. We were there for my husband`s 50th birthday celebration with two other friends.
The villa is gorgeous and everything you could want was right there for you. The maid service was just excellent - Victoria is a doll - so friendly and always smiling. Josette and the Coral Beach Club staff were fantastic - always there to help with anything and everything, from arranging cabs for us, to dinner reservations, etc. It was nice that there was always security and maintenance around to look after us. The airport pickup was great.
The view from the villa is just spectacular, with St. Bart`s in the distance. Dawn Beach was really fun with lots of waves and very little seaweed while we were there. Great snorkelling too, on calmer days. We made great use the pool and the gazebo at the villa after swimming in the ocean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic and fully equipped. There is even snorkel gear, pool floats, beach toys, games, etc. The sound system is also fabulous and the kitchen has anything and everything you could possibly need.
Mr. Busby`s is just steps from the villa for great breakfasts and lunches, and turns into Daniels by the Sea at night. Canoa and Big Fish were also excellent supper options within walking distance of the villa.
Not to be missed is a snorkel trip with Captain alan - his business is also within walking distance of the villa, at the Marina - a really fun, safe day. There is a grocery store there too for your necessities - there is a locked room with wine and liquors, in case you don`t see that right away.
Finally, I can`t say enough about Corinne and how much she made this trip easy for us. It was our first non-all-inclusive experience so we were a little nervous but she make everything run so smoothly and was readily available to answer any questions we had. It will be hard to top this trip - because of the luxurious accommodations, the beautiful pool and pool deck, the beach, and the friendly people of the island of St. Martin, we know we will be back!

take your breakfast and relax in front of that beautiful ocean view
if you like to cook the villa are equip with everything you need to cook a 5 star dinner, if not at walking distance you have canoa and big fish restaurant.
it was the perfect vacation.

We celebrated our 50th Birthday on the Island of St Maarten!!! Wow what a time we had!!!
I am so glad we decided to stay @ Villa Corinne... This Villa is beautifuly decorated with everthing you need for a luxurious vacation!! The owner Corinne is delightful !! She helped us arrange a visit to anguilla to the "Cuisinart Spa" a beautiful experience !! The concierge services are also top notch ...They will arrange whatever your heart desires!!

My wife, 21-month old son, and myself stayed at Villa Corinne for a week in November, and it was fantastic. Corinne was exceptionally helpful from the beginning, and the booking process was easy and everything worked out well. She also informed us of some useful services (e.g., order groceries online and have them delivered before you get to the apartment) that made our trip that much better.
The apartment itself is spacious, beautiful, and well-maintained. With a toddler, we like to alternate who gets up with him, and who gets to sleep in. But often in hotels/apartments the walls are thin and he ends up waking the other up anyway. Not so here, each of us were able to get a great night sleep without him waking us up too early, and we were able to watch TV and not wake him up.
The pool is fantastic. Not huge, but perfect for floating around in, and taking a break. The proximity to Dawn Beach (literally a 50 foot walk from the property to the water) is also excellent, and while the surf is a bit rough for a toddler, it'll be great when he's 5!
I cooked dinner for us a number of nights, and the kitchen had practically every gadget necessary for preparation (the only thing I couldn't find was a salad spinner!). The fridge, stove and other appliances were all high-quality as well as the pots and pans. The outdoor grill was also great and turned out some excellent steaks and chicken. I think practically everything was Cuisinart brand, so good quality across the board.
Overall we had an excellent time at Villa Corinne and are already thinking about when we will next be visiting!Response from Corinne Margulies - 12/01/2011

It is certainly a great place for children because there is plenty of space and as you pointed out, the walls are constructed to prevent noise from penetrating to the next room. With a 21-month old, YOU BOTH need sleep whenever possible. Glad you enjoyed the grill. We do also and it's great to sit on the terrace, cool drink in hand listening to the ocean in the background. From my very first contact with Corinne to our final day at Coral Beach was everything it was advertised to be. Speaking with Corinne you could just feel the pride she had in her Villa. We have never stayed in a vacation rental that was as equipped as this one. The service and respect to detail is second to none. Dawn Beach in our opinion is the place to be on St. Maarten. When choosing to dine out several restaurants ( Big Fish, Floaters & Captain Olivers) all close by were wonderful. In Grand Case, L'Estaminet, was our favorite on the island. We made a day trip to St. Bart's which we found to be just okay. We have traveled with the same couple to several different islands but this trip because of Villa Corinne wins our award of excellence. A day at the beach ( outside your frony door), cocktails poolside and dinner either prepared in our gourmet kitchen or nearby made for a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. We will be Back!

We rented the villa for my 50th BD celebration. We did it over the internet, sight unseen. We've rented other villas/homes in the past and they were not exactly as pictured or described...but Villa Corinne was, if not better. All three bedrooms were luxurious, with attached baths, ample closet and drawer space, etc. Two BRs opened up onto the patio and ocean. The entire backside of the home basically opened up and during the day, you could be inside and feel as if you were outside! The villa had everything you needed, including snorkeling equipment! Maid service was excellent and she even adjusted her schedule when she learned we were late sleepers! We only left the villa a few times to wander into town...if we go again, we would probably just stay in the villa 24/7...it is truly that special. We walked to the casino at the Westin, to lunch at Mr Busby's and dinner at Big Fish. All were very nice and super convenient. Shopping in Phillipsburg is some of the best ever but we did not enjoy Marigot quite as much. We had a french chef come in for 5 meals and he was great...tasty food presented beautifully and he shopped and cleaned up!!
We loved Villa Corinne, cannot say one negative thing about it, and hope to return again! -

My husband & I traveled with another couple to the villa and had a wonderful stay. We loved the seclusion and quietness of the area. We spent most days relaxing by the beautiful pool, reading and enjoying the view. The house was gorgeous with everything you needed to feel at home. The locals were awesome and so helpful- everywhere we went we felt very safe. The staff at the Villa went above and beyond to help make our stay wonderful. Enjoyed many of the restaurants nearby, especially Big Fish - which was just a short walk down the beach. We will for sure return to St. Maarten & Villa Corrine!

Let us start from the bottom line: Yes, we loved the place!
We came across villa Corinne after thorough online research. My wife and I are seasoned travelers, each time looking not only for the place to rest, but also for adventures and the biggest bang for the buck! Narrowed our search down to Kauai, hi and Caribbean St. Maarten and then found Vrbo.com with attractive offers to rent villas. Coral Beach Club looked like the best place on the island and we started research on very informative coralbeachclub.net. Out of all villas on that beach villa Corinne was standing out in every respect - location, amenities, contemporary interior design. I think this is the one of very few villas on the beach with palms on the private patio. Once on the island, we had every chance to prove our choice was right.
We traveled to St. Maarten during off season period and got good deal, communication directly to the owner. Every question was answered in a timely and very friendly manner.
Villa Corinne is a luxurious place - if you usually booked in resorts, this is quite different - not one room but several and bigger, kitchen with Viking equipment, personal pool, dream beach just steps away, a rental car standing by. If it was more expensive, than luxury resort, then not by much.
Now words of advice for your stay. Do thorough homework before you go on what to do on the island. This would be much better than getting help on this on the spot at activity desks. We do not recommend ordering groceries for your refrigerator - this did not work for us very well. Drive and explore first 1-2 days during daytime only. It is not hard to get around, but you just need to know key turns. Eat on the French side of the island, every 2-3 days in Great Case or Marigot. Near Villa Corinne there is Big Fish restaurant - worth trying once or twice.
Overall we are very happy with our vacation stay at villa Corinne and recommend it to everyone.

We stayed her with our daughter & husband, two grand childern and our son & his fiance. Location is great, 15 -minutes to Phillipsburg and 15-20 to Grand Case, villa is unbelieveable. Take advantage of the pre-arrival shopping, very nice to arrive after traveling alll day and have the frig stocked. We also used Fabulous Feasts one for dinner which was a great. Have recommeded to many friends and defintely would returen.
