With sweeping views of Lake Daylesford and the forest beyond, BILSON'S LANDING is just metres from the Lake House and a few minutes walk from the town centre. Beautifully appointed, it features original art work and quality appliances throughout. There is a massive, fully-equipped chef's kitchen, with Smeg oven and cooktop, two-door icemaker fridge and Nespresso coffee machine.

Entertain in the large dining room (seating for eig...ht), relax in front of the gas log fire, or enjoy a movie on the 95-inch cinema screen and projector with surround sound. Choose from our DVD and BluRay collection, or the large high definition media library provided. A comprehensive music library with multi-zone Bose speakers, and wifi internet connection is also provided.

The balcony provides the perfect spot to dine and watch the sunset over Wombat State Forest and the lake below.

There are three sumptuous bedrooms, each with its own en-suite with rain shower. The luxurious king-size beds can be split into up to six singles. Be sure to specify the number of beds when booking. The front bedroom has a two-person Body Therapy spa bath.

Bilson's Landing is self-contained and self-catering. A welcome hamper with delicious local produce is provided on arrival.

  We have just returned from a glorious weekend in Daylesford, the highlight of which was undoubtedly our accommodation at Bilson's Landing. Friends of ours have stayed there and raved about their experience but we have always thought it - 'too expensive'. Well hang the expense we thought - let's indulge ourselves - and we're glad we did!
  
  The first thing you notice is the size of the place! 3 big bedrooms, each with a full (and luxurious) en-suite. The massive open-plan living area has every imaginable comfort and convenience, including a drop down theatre-sized video screen and sound system... magnificent! The whole area is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean.
  There's a huge feature-packed kitchen, a beautiful wooden dining table (which would seat about 10) and a lovely outdoor dining setting on the deck. The entire front and side of the house features floor to ceiling glass with a wonderful deck wrapped around providing truly lovely views of the surrounding hills - and the lake is directly opposite: a very peaceful and scenic spot for a morning walk.
  The location is perfect. It's about a 10-12 minute stroll into the heart of town and some of the finest country eateries around.
  We found the hosts very friendly and obliging. They live in a separate house on the same property - handy but not intrusive!
  
  All in all, a wonderfully memorable weekend. Next time we'll bring some friends along to share the adventure (and the cost).

  Bilson's Landing offers a wonderful retreat for the city person with its location in such a picturesque area of Daylesford. The constant movement of birdlife from the Wombat Forest and the lake was truly spectacular and easily enjoyed from the comfort of the lounge or the ample outdoor decking. Thankyou again to two wonderful hosts for making me so welcome once again.

  We chose to stay at Bilson's Landing for our daughter's wedding weekend and the wonderful experience there was more than we ever imagined.
  
  We were delightfully surprised when we walked into the magnificently designed home to find the fire lit and cosy warm on this nine degree November day.
  Our first hour in the home was spent just admiring all of the luxurious fittings, everything has been selected with exceptional good taste in every detail.
  
  The private bedroom & bathroom areas as well as the most comfortable beds on earth (the first thing that everyone said in the morning), allowed for all of the wedding party to rest well for the following big day.
  
  Like a miracle the sun shone the next day and the day warmed as everything aligned perfectly for the wedding day.
  We were able to enjoy the huge amount of natural light inside Bilson's which was ideal for the hairdresser, makeup lady and of course the photographer.
  She took many beautiful photos everywhere inside, staircase, the balcony and outside on the driveway with the lovely lake bush backdrop.
  
  Although I ordered some food platters in for my pre wedding guests, the 'to die for' Bilson's kitchen is well equipped and catered for my every need to present the luncheon beautifully.
  
  Thank you David for "bending over backwards" to meet our individual request and for the very generous and scrumptious gourmet hamper.
  Staying at Bilson's was like a second home, it was so very welcoming.
  We have many wonderful memories of our weekend and we thank you for this.

  My Friends and I had a wonderful stay at Bilsons landing. The kichen / dinning we amazing,the huge screen fantastic! The bed rooms were so comfy and delightful ,bathrooms lovely & clean. Our stay was so much fun and relaxing. would recommend to any one.

  Luxury escape from the daily grind.

  Bilson's Landing is within easy walk of the lake and Daylesford's shopping strip. Everything about the house is top quality, including fittings, furnishings, even linens. Unlike many holiday rentals, the kitchen is very well kitted out, so there's no fruitless searching for a colander or a grater if you decide to eat in. There's even a variety of cookbooks to inspire you! The style is cosy but luxurious, right down to the enormous showers and the heated towel rails in the bathroom. David is very obliging about making improvements and giving assistance. We've booked our fourth stay later this year and each time, it feels like coming home, but to a much nicer place than the ones we've left. This gorgeous home - it couldn't be called merely a house - is perfect for three couples intent on hedonism. We are five old girls who don't leave once we arrive; we cook there, sit drinking and gossiping on the verandah as the shadows lengthen, then move indoors to watch a selection of Dvds provided for us in the hi-tech lounge. After each visit, it's harder to leave. We thoroughly recommend Bilson's Landing to anyone who appreciates luxury surroundings.

  I and my 4 friends have had 3 wonderful weekends staying at Bilson's Landing. Each visit has been so relaxing and comfortable. The house is beautiful and luxurious, the beds so comfy and David has always been so accomodating if there was anything we needed.
  If you love comfort and luxury and a well equipped kitchen, as we do you shouldn't think twice about staying here. And of course, all the wonderful things Daylesford has to offer, is the icing on the cake!
  We have booked Bilson's Landing for our 4th visit later this year, and we can't wait to return!
