My husband and my two sons (age 15 & 9) stayed in this beautiful condo for a week in august, 2011. First off, we really appreciated the garage parking spot that came with the condo rental. Especially in august in Florida, if you can park in a garage to avoid the scorching sun, it's a very good thing! Mr. McHenry met us inthe garage and checked us into the condo. When you first enter the condo, you can't help but say "Wow" (just see if you don't). The large living space opens up to the living and dining area and the views from this floor go on forever. The kitchen is large and well-appointed. There is one bedroom on the lower floor. Upstairs is the master suite, and it's huge. Lots of space and very well and comfortably appointed. Two floors of wraparound decking are a grand finishing touch. Mr. McHenry, we appreciate your hospitality!

My wife and I brought our 2 girls and had a wonderful time. The condo is very spacious and comfortable and well furnished. We also enjoyed browsing the great book collection there. With the kids we particularly liked the big pool right next to the beach.
We didn't appreciate until we got there how nice it was to be on the north end of Daytona and closer to the quieter Ormond Beach.
It was easy to work with the owner, and we hope to get back there in the future. -

What a great place to stay while in Daytona Beach. Its in a great location and convenient to a lot of local attractions. The view from the penthouse is amazing. Its a really nice place to come and relax after a busy day. The added security of the parking garage is nice. The owner was great to work with and was available via email and phone for any of our questions. We look forward to staying here again for our next visit.

Great location and the view is magnificent. Beach is really nice for walking in this area. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. Condo is spacious and clean and the balcony space is extra nice. Have underground parking which is also nice. Dick is a great owner and really makes sure you are satisfied with your experience.

The owner of this property was very nice. We were however really surprised at the dated appearance when we arrived. Carpets stained and the whole place felt like stepping into 1980s. There was a mirror over the bed which sat up on a pedestal. A first for us. Bathroom fixtures were black and cabinets and countertops had seen better days. Refrigerator had a lot of food jars and bottles from owner or previous tenants inside. Drawers contained owners clothes and a lot of "stuff" which made us feel a little creepy. The most disappointing was the quality of bedding and linens. They seemed really old. No beach towels to be found and there were few towels, some of them with owner(?)monograms. Compared to other rentals we have had, we were really disappointed. Dishes were a hodge podge. Mismatched glasses, cheap silverware etc. In short this place needs a good cleaning and some freshening up with fresh towels, sheets, blankets, bedspreads, and dishes and glass wear. Finally, calling this a 2 bedroom is a stretch. It's really 1 bedroom with a study and hide-a-bed. There are no drawers or luggage racks in study nor is there a TV. Not a room anyone would want to stay in for any length of time. Also there is construction going on next door so during the day there is a lot of banging.
Plus side, It is a spacious apartment with a nice view of the beach. owner provides beach chairs and toys if you have kids. With an investment it could be a nice unit if you want to be in Daytona Beach. -

This penthouse was amazing, comfortable and inviting. Stayed with with two children aged 9 and 12, and they liked there was room enough for them to play. It was so nice after a long day to come back and relax, and not have to try to relax on two beds in a hotel room. Excellent location, quiet, yet very close to everything Daytona Beach has to offer.

Dick is a super guy to work with and has a wonderful condo on Daytona Beach. My wife, 14 year old daughter and 11 year son had a great time on vacation the first week of august. The views from the balconies are beautiful, the beach was relaxing and we found plenty of things to do in Daytona Beach, The condo is very nice and the complex is quiet and secure. .

Perfect for Couples or a Family. The pictures capture about 60% of what this Penthouse really is. Truly breath taking. Got way more expected. Secured private parking underneath out of the sun. Pool stayed extremely clear and clean. The Beachfront seemed almost private. Really feels exclusive. It will be our 1st on the list to reserve next year.
