Description

Park Atlantis is a holiday park, integrated in a 10 ha sized park, situated in at 800 m from the North Sea and its sandy beach. It is surrounded by a 150 ha hiking area and several picturesque polder villages.
We have studio's and appartements for rent for 2 to 8 persons, which can be combined for large families and groups.

Type Dahlia flat with private garden: suitable for 4 to 8 persons

Many consider the Dahlia residence to be the most charming of all.

The 72 m2 apartments have a kitchen equipped for 8 persons, a spacious living room of about 25 m2 with an L-shaped lounge with built-in bed. There is a bedroom with two bunk beds to accommodate 4 persons and a second bedroom with a 160-cm double bed. There are two small bathrooms with shower, toilet and washbasin.

The inventory provides for 10 persons. There are also plenty of extras such as an LCD TV, Hi Fi, a DVD player, an electric BBQ, many (+/- 70 from Telenet) digital television channels, …

The apartment has two spacious parking spaces, close to your apartment.

The enjoyable indoor garden provides a pleasant ambiance. The spacious terrace comes complete with garden furniture for 8 persons. There are also adjoining apartments available for groups.

The corner apartments have private gardens facing south. These types are additionally fitted with a second LCD TV in the bedroom (with cable connection), a laptop safe, cooking hob, ...

These apartments are also suitable for accommodating two families who would like to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms but are prepared to share the remaining rooms. This makes Dahlia an extremely attractive option from an economical point of view.

We offer many activities such as:

Outdoor sports and swimming

Park Atlantis has 3 tennis courts and football, volleyball and basketball courts. There are also two petanque fields and there is a large playground. You can go for a swim in the nearby swimming pool (sportcomplex Sparrenboslaan 27).

Cycling, Golf, Fishing and Horseback Riding, ...

This region is known for its interesting cycling routes, such as the Oude Dijkenroute. Cycle sheds are available in the park and there are a number of dealers from whom you can hire bicycles and go-carts. Within walking distance of the park we find the famous golf course of De Haan, a fish pond and the stables for horses. The protected dunes offer special trails for riders.

De Haan Town Center

De Haan town centre has acquired a special place in many holidaymakers' hearts. Here you can still find that perfect holiday atmosphere with its picturesque residential neighbourhoods, built in famous Belle Époque style, or by taking a walk along a typical dyke while you savour the vast green landscape… Because there are no high-rise buildings here, De Haan has a certain distinguished appearance.

Would you like to go back in time? Then you must definitely walk through the 'Concessie' in De Haan-Centre. Almost all buildings date back to the Belle Époque period.

De Haan is thé holiday paradise by the sea for both young and old! De Haan proudly claims to have the most beautiful dyke along the Belgian coast, ideally suited for walking. Add the beach (no breakwater!), the dunes and woods, and you have the perfect mix for a perfect holiday.

And what tastes better after a vigorous walk than a menu of fresh fish and other local specialties? De Haan has excellent restaurants for a culinary trip.

Many opportunities & excursions:

The medieval Bruges: Minnewater (Lake of Love), coach- and boat trips, lots of museums, the Straffe Hendrik brewery...

At 28-km distance you'll find historical Damme, also accessible from Bruges by boat.

Entertainment parks like Boudewijnpark (Dolphins), Bellewaerde and Plopsaland will most certainly appeal to the very young.

In Blankenberge there is the Sea-Life Centre, as well as the pier.

In Jabbeke you'll find the Permeke museum and in Gistel the Ten Putte Abbey.

This was a great holiday will book again, really central for all the resorts, only 45 minutes to Holland, great markets all along the coast one every day at a different resort loved De Haan only 20 mi… More
