The pictures do not do this cabin justice! We had a great weekend vacation. There were plenty of games for the kids to play, and lots of room so we weren't on top of each other! The hot tub was amazing, we watched the snow falling around us!
Location was great, only 15-20 minutes to Boone, in a quite area. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! -

I had a fantastic stay. we had a baseball tournament and we enjoyed our time at the cabin. between the hot tub the grill Directv ping pong table we have plenty to do. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

I rented this cabin for a weekend stay with other 14 people and we all had really a great time. The place was very beautiful, clean and in a quiet area. The description on the website was accurate and we loved everything we found including the grand piano in the living room, the hot tub outside and the ping pong table downstairs. One small thing was that the internet connection was very slow and we could not figure out what the problem was. Besides this, all the rest was as we wished. If you are a large group of people like us that is looking for an awesome cabin atmosphere and has no four wheel drive vehicle, this is the place for you.
(Not sure this is relevant, but a big thank you to Jennifer of Carolina Mountain Properties to make this rental so easy). -

That is what made it so great, we came from the west coast to the mountain.Great family time together.

Our son came from San Francisco and our daughter from Durham as well as my 82 year old mom. We had a wonderful time. The house provided everything we needed and even the weather came through and we watched the snow fall while sitting in the hot tub on the deck. We plan to use this rental again. It was great and the wheelchair ramp was great to use. We loved it!

We went with 4 families.It sleeps 18.The place was covered with dead wasp and flies.Dust covered the place.I had to clean it the first day we got there.There was a problem with the electricity and the bath jets went on and off at various times,so if you tried to rest you'd end up having to run upstairs to fix it.It had only one trash can and they required you put a weeks worth of trash in it.It is advertised with 2 refrigerators and they had 1 locked up.The jacuzzi did not work and they knew it before we got there and they knew it was a necessity for our vacation.Jenny in the office will not return our calls.It's been 4 months now.She told us the week we were there she would talk to the owner who is selling the place and ask about some type of refund or another stay when things were in order.I can't believe she will not call to discuss it.

Great property. Unlike those in major developments where your neighbor is right on top of you this is a large isolated lot. Three levels gives room to spread out and have multiple families enjoy the stay. We had four generatation staying together and it was the perfect arrangement. Piano needed tuning.

I arrived at the cabin and the view and cabin itself was very nice. They were there working on the Hot Tub, once I had gotten all the items in I noticed that on the steps was a puddle of water, when I looked up the ceiling was leaking from condensation, I called the agency and after some time they were able to place me somewhere else. The cabin was great, nice rooms, wide open area just did not get an opportunity to stay over night

We had such a great experience. the house was fabulous. So roomy, nice ammenities and very reasonable. We stayed there with my family for my daughter's college graduation and the place was perfect. I would absolutely recommend without hesitation.

We rented Empty Pockets for my daughter's wedding reception. The rooms were elegant and spacious and very well appointed. The grounds were perfect for the guests and there was plenty of room to park. It was also very private. We highly recommend this property!

We shared this house with 3 other couples and there was plenty of room. It had a very nice deck and yard for the kids to play. The hot tub was not working at the time of our visit, but other than that, we loved it.
