Thanks for providing such a warm, and inviting place for us to stay while on a skiing trip. The drive from Del Norte to the Wolf Creek Ski area was not as long as I was fearing. It was actually a very beautiful drive.
The house was perfect for us, and gave us plenty of room to spread out and relax.
We would be more than happy to come back again in the future.

My family had a wonderful stay in the cabin. We especially loved the beauty and the tranquility of the setting. The cabin was immaculate, comfortable, and provided all the amenities of home. The location was perfect since it was within an easy drive to a variety of interesting places and spectacular scenery. Scott was very helpful and cooperative in planning our excursion to Colorado. I highly recommend this property!

DenverThe perfect place!
Left on 08/01/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Our family decided to go to the San Juan Mnts for a family vacation in the summer of 2012. Being that we had a dog and 2 small children, we wanted to rent a home that gave us "home like" amenities such as a kitchen, BBQ grill, comfortable family room, multiple bedrooms, etc. This house fit the bill and then some. Being on such a large tract of land allowed the boys to explore safely. The neighbor had horses on the property which was a special bonus for us all! The tree swing was awesome and the creek at the back of the property was really neat. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and had all the features we needed...and then some. The firepit on the back porch was great for making s'moores in the evenings and the BBQ grill worked great for grilling up dinner. I would highly recommend this house to anyone heading to the many attractions this part of the state offers--The Sand Dunes, Alligator Farm, Pagosa Springs, Wolf Creek Pass, Alamosa, Creed and great fishing!
The owner was very helpful from start to finish. He asked what we were planning to do on our trip and then suggested we stay in the middle of the attractions we wanted to visit. What a perfect plan that was! Our drive to all the spots we visited was much better that way. When we left, we forgot a valuable item and the did not realize it until we were almost home. We called the owner and he graciously assisted us in getting our item back by bringing it back to us after his next trip to the home.
Bottom line, you just can't go wrong by renting this home! We'll be back for sure! -

Brazoria, TXBeautiful mountain views as you stroll through the grounds!
Left on 05/14/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The cabin was supplied with everything needed. Our family mostly likes to cook at home and sit in the evenings looking at the beautiful scenery. There are lush fields and a pond in the foreground and mountains views to die for. Wildlife abounds here with mule deer ambling through morning and evening. The National Forest is just a walk across the County Road and you can hike forever and see the most beautiful mountains and countryside. Pinos Creek runs at the back of the property (~60 acres) and is just beautiful. The Ghost Town of Summitville is only 15 miles South of the Cabin on Cty Rd 14. The towns of South Fork (20 miles away) and Creede (a historic silver mining town) is only a 45 minute drive. The Rio Grande River runs from North of Creede right through Del Norte and boasts of great fishing and river rafting. Pagosa Springs is only an hours drive to the West. This area is full of things to keep any family entertained for weeks on end. I so enjoyed my stay and plan to continue to visit regularly.

We had a wonderful experience. The house was well suited for me and my family, including my 12 year old son. I like to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed. Sitting in the cozy cabin, we saw deer in the mornings and evenings right outside the window. The hiking and fishing was great. I would recommend this cabin for anyone looking to unwind and recharge.
