A beautiful custom home near Denali National Park that can accommodate 8-10 people.

Located at Mile 224.5, just 13 miles (10-15 minutes) south of the Denali National Park entrance. An ideal location, away from the busy park entrance, yet easy access to the park and all its activities.

This newly remodeled 1800 sq. ft. house sits on 3+ wooded acres and has all the luxuries of home with amazing mountain views, giving you a unique Denali experience.

Three bedrooms, two full bath, washer/dryer and custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the essentials.

The cozy living room has a wood stove, cable TV, DV...D player with movies, Wi-Fi, and telephone. There is an outside covered dining area which seats 12+ with a BBQ gas grill on the deck and a small chest freezer.

1st Floor-Two bedrooms-One with (2) queen beds, and a small bedroom with (1) double/full sized bed.

**The full bathroom has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

2nd Floor-The master suite-(1) King bed, cable TV & DVD player, luxury bath with antique claw foot tub, separate tile & glass shower and amazing panoramic mountain views!

After a day hiking in the park, relax on the deck enjoy the mountain views while sipping a drink with family and friends, challenge someone to a game of horse shoes or toast smore’s by the campfire.

Come in the fall/winter and be amazed by the spectacular show given by the Northern Lights, explore the park, enjoy cross country skiing and snow shoeing on one of many world class trails or use as a home base for snow machining in the Cantwell /Denali Hwy area (Mile 209).

However you decide to spend your day, we have no doubt you will enjoy the setting, location and comforts of the “Carlo House”. Owned and operated by McKinley Creekside Cabins & Café.

There is a full service restaurant, The Creekside Cafe', located 1/4 south.

Open: mid May thru early June 7am-10pm daily / Early June thru mid September 6am-10pm daily.

A small grocery/liquor store & gas station are located 1/2 mile north of the park entrance.

You can also pick up any snacks/food/beverages in either Anchorage, Wasilla or there is one more store “Cubby’s” ½ mile south of the turn-off for Talkeetna at mile 99 (approx. 2 1/2 hrs. south of Denali).Read more

50% Deposit required at booking, balance charged 45 days prior to arrival.
61+ notice no cancellation fee 100% of deposit is refunded.
45-60 days cancellation notice for refund, less $50.00 cancellation fee.
44 days or less you forfeit the full amount.

  Stayed two nights here, the house is nice but the listing said it was on a secluded three acres this is misleading there are two other buildings on the property which are occupied. The house has undergone remodel so some things are not quite finished there is also very little in the kitchen so be prepared to buy pretty much everything to cook (no oil, foil, plastic wrap, coffee) no basics. There is also no inside dining table, we were a family of six and like to eat together and play cards in late evening but this was not possible as the only table is outside and with the cold and mosquitos this was just not an option. Wood is $7.00 a small bundle which seems pricey as you would need several bundles to keep a fire going.

  Thank you and we appreciate your feedback. It is our goal to provide a luxury house rental for families and small groups with the amenities of home. I am sorry that you felt our description was not accurate, as that is certainly not our goal. After review I decided to removed the word "secluded". This is a beautiful house with many great features and I want people to know exactly what they are getting so there are no disappointments. I agree that the wood is expensive, unfortunately it cost me $6.00 a bundle to have it delivered. Again thanks for your feedback and we hope you enjoyed your time in Denali.

  Traveling with two other couples, we had a wonderful stay at the Carlo House. The staff was courteous and helpful when we had questions.
  
  The location was terrific and a perfect distance from the Denali National Park entrance. We enjoyed our privacy and beautiful scenery.
  
  The house is well supplied with necessary ammenities and a few extras (ice cream maker, wine chiller, spice rack and a gorgeous tub!)
