'Shanti' means peace. Our quiet location, high on a private ridge-top acreage with glorious views of Baynes Sound and the Beaufort Range, offers you a place of natural great peace on Denman Island.
Three guest bedrooms all include Queen sized beds. We offer a full breakfast prepared with local, organic ingredients, when possible.
Shanti House has an elegant dining room with french doors onto a spacious, flower-filled deck. I loved my stay at Shanti House. George, Laurie and Lucy hold a welcoming, family vibe in a home with stunning ocean views. The food was delicious and fresh (Laurie's an amazing chef), the bedroom was comfy, and there's a host of interesting books to peruse. Yoga in the yurt with George was magical, the local beaches beautiful, and a highlight of my stay was bathing by candlelight under the stars in the glass house hot tub.

Shanti House was all around splendid. The owners are friendly and open minded. A great place to stay with a healthy atmosphere. Quick jump to Hornby Island from Shanti on Denman if you want a get away. Slept like a baby.
