SpringfieldGreat little getaway
Left on 04/09/2012 for a stay in August 2011
We stayed at Carole's cottage the summer of 2011. It was a great time! The beach is only steps away. The backyard was great for our cookouts, and not to mention the outside shower. Met the neighbor, who was a really nice guy. It has a choice location right in the middle of a ton of attractions. Carole's suggestion of going to the National Seashore beach made my vacation! I would definitely recommend this little getaway cottage to anyone. Thanks again!

We had a lovely week. Carole is very eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible and went out of her way to get us a working tv and dvd for our first rainy day. The cottage is small but has everything you need, and cooking on the bbq and using the outdoor shower add to the cottage experience. The bike path is not far away, we recommend parking your car at the lot at the top of Depot Street and starting there. Both Marconi and Nauset beaches are beautiful but in a car you have to get there early before the parking lot fills up. A few more pots and pans (and a teapot!) would add the finishing touches for those who like to cook. There is a huge grocery store called Stop and Shop in Harwich that is worth going to for your week's groceries. Thanks for sharing your great little cottage with people from all over, it is a great spot to explore Cape Cod from.

Burlington, VermontCozy little cottage by the sea!
Left on 08/08/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Spent 4days/3nights here - it was literally a short walk to the ocean. The cottage was not clean when we arrived (not super dirty - just some dishes in the sink, dirt in the shower, etc.)and we were told that the owners had recently switched cleaners and that it is not typical that the cottage is left uncleaned. Other than that it was a nice place to sleep at the end of the day, and we were able to cook our own food at the house.

Hi Lindsay-
Thank you for bringing the cleaning (or lack thereof) problem to our attention. I spoke with the service and have been assured that it will never happen again! Happy you had a nice time away and hope you'll return again. All Best~ Carole & Paul -

My mom, husband and I stayed here and just loved our week. We were a walk away from great dining, beaches, ice cream and even mini-golf. The neighborhood was excellent for all ages and we had everything we needed.

This cottage was everything and more we could have hoped for. Cozy, Comfortable, Clean, and Convenient.
This wonderful cottage is a short wonderful walk down a dead-end (No Traffic) lane. Awaiting you there is an awesome view of the entire atlantic Ocean, and at the bottom of the few steps is a Private, sandy Beach. Awaiting you back at the cottage after the day at the water is a very nice outdoor shower, if you so choose, for a very
"Capey" method to rinse the salt off before relaxing in the backyard easing into the evening. I personally opted for the outdoor shower more than the shower inside. The location in Dennisport is convenient to many restaurants and other spots that we were interested in. To keep ourselves entertained and busy, when we wanted to, we didn't have to go far.
The cottage is very clean, nicely appointed, and we enjoyed everyday we had there. But my strongest review may be that we are both looking forward to the week we have rented this wonderful cottage this
coming summer. What more could I say. -

We had a wonderful vacation in this fantastic cottage. The owners were very helpful and really went the extra mile helping us organise our trip to Cape Cod (we live in the UK). Loved the outdoor shower, and the location was just perfect for us. Our children loved the yard and it felt like a very safe area for them to play... beaches nearby were great too! Looking forward to hopefully staying there again on our next trip to the us.

Left on 04/11/2011 for a stay in November 2010
We were looking for a house near the beach and found this charming 2 bedroom house, emaculate, clean and minutes to the beach, which is across the street. It has all the comforts of home, everything we needed was thought of. Upon arrival Carole (the owner) made sure we had a bottle of champagne and chocolate. It was the nicest thing anybody has ever done for us on our anniversary travels! We will surely return this November for our 24th Wedding anniversary! Thanks Carole and Paul, we loved your house and thanks for sharing it with us!

This Cape cottage is a gem amongst gems! Located very near to the beach as well as several rainy day activities, a perfect place to stay regardless of the New England weather. The rental was very clean and full of necessary ammenties to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable! One of our favorite features was the beautiful, enclosed outdoor shower!! We are already booking our week for the summer of 2011! Love it!
