Hollywoods Resort has a quiet country atmosphere with a touch of class. We're located in the west central lakes area of Minnesota.The seven spacious wooded acres of well kept grounds offer privacy and rest in a truly unique setting. Our new family log retreat (completed in 2011) offers large groups a perfect setting for that unique getaway. The cedar log retreat is actual a duplex. Each side offers 2300 sq. ft. and includes 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchens have hickory cabinets, marble floors and are fully appointed. We are located on the south shore of beautiful East Silent Lake in the Great State of Minnesota, just 13.5 miles east of Pelican Rapids or 7 miles west of Dent on Hwy 108. For those of you coming a little further, we are 60 miles southeast of Fargo/Moorhead or 190 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul

Rates are based on 35.00 per night per person. The retreat is log duplex (meaning 2 units), each unit consists of 4 bedroom and 2 baths with full kitchen, living, loft and deck. The rates listed are based on 8 people renting one unit, but we can rent the entire retreat. If you rent the entire retreat the rate would be based off of 16 people ($560.00) a night. The retreat has connecting doors that when unlocked from both sides allow interior access to the entire retreat.
We can provide flexible occupancy rates in the off season (October -> April).

This is a great place to spend time at durning the summer. It is quiet, relaxing, affordable, newly updated, and surrounded by beautiful trees. There are many things to do there with an awesome sandy beach and access right to the lake. We enjoy laying on the beach, swimming, playing beach volleyball, and having access to the pantoon, paddle boats, and lake raft. There are even docks where you can keep your own boat while staying there. With all the trees and wildlife we enjoy going for walks. It is located close to Mapplewood State Park, various resturants, grocery stores, and gas stations in the nearby towns. They also have a store located right on the property with a variety of foods and items just incase you forgot anything.
We also enjoy going there year round to spend time with our family during our family reunion, and on the holidays! It's a spacious place to have larger gatherings for Thanksgiving and Christmas! We go there several times a year and have encourged our family and friends to stay there too! Steve and Holly are excellent hosts!!

I always have a great time at this resort. I visit every June for a week. There is great scenery and a huge beach for a very relaxing time. I cant wait til this June to go back!!

Hollywoods Resort Log Retreat home is absolutely beautiful! It is spacious and a very, very nice home away from home. It has beautiful, quality furnishings -- the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in away from home! The kitchen is completely furnished just as your own home is -- a luxury we have not experienced anywhere else we've been. The deck overlooking the lake is a wonderful place to relax in the morning and evening; the patio on the backside is equally as relaxing and enjoyable! Having a washer/dryer in the home is a great treat as well!
Holly and Steve are the most gracious of hosts...they are available when you need them and so very kind and helpful.
We definately will be returning to Hollywoods Resort! -

We had the best time here! Our kids favorite thing was to check out all of the fish right off the dock and play on the sand beach. We also saw many tutles during our stay. The entire resort is clean and well kept. The log retreat is huge and had all the kichen supplies that you will need. There are plenty of games and puzzles for the kids. We wish that we could have stayed longer!
