We stayed in apt 29c of Brooks Towers. The shower handles fell off in both bathrooms (no set screws). Called the owner/manager and he did not repair it while we were there. Sliding glass door to the terrace was hard to open and close. Vertical blinds were missing so sun streamed in the afternoon blinding us. Bulbs in kitchen missing with no extras. Carpets and mats were dirty. With door to terrace open it was very noisy due to mechanicals in surrounding buildings.

After confirming a reservation on 10/12 by phone with the Rental agent (Larry), I was told that I would receive email confirmation for Unit #29C at Brooks Tower. The email stated that I would receive further details of check-in process by 10/17. Having not received the follow up email by 10/22, I started calling for information and got no return calls. On 10/23 prior to leaving for our trip, I sent another request for the information. The agent called me back and said he would send it right away. Not any surprise to me by this point, the email was not sent prior to us leaving for the airport.
After arriving in Colorado for the first part of our trip, I received the final instructions for check in. Unfortunately, the specific Unit 29C I had reserved and gotten confirmation of had now been changed to Unit 29J with less beds than my party required and a city view instead of mountains. The email also had documents that I was to complete, sign, and return. I replied my dissatisfaction with the room change, and the fact that I had no way of printing documents as I was no longer at home. Once again, no reply from the agent.
After numerous phone attempts and texts, the agent called me back the evening before check-in. He said there was nothing he could do about the room change, and stated he would expedite the room cleaning so we could check-in early on the 26th. We arrived and parked at the Brooks Tower afternoon on 10/26 and walked around town to kill some time before check-in. After getting no return calls or texts from the agent, we returned to the Brooks Tower at 3PM. We inquired as guest about a restroom that one of my family members could use, and where rudely told by the front desk that there were no public restrooms. Needless to say we left and were not informed that we could check in until after 4PM.
The Unit 29J, while not what we needed in regards to number of beds was very clean and they promised would have an additional air mattress for our guest. We found the empty box for the air mattress and once again started the communication attempts with the agent. We later found a mattress in the back of a utility closet and text the agent to let him know this.
While out that evening, I started getting what I would consider rude texts from the agent that I needed to turn in the paperwork or the keys immediately. I called the agent and reminded him that I had no way of printing the paperwork that he should have sent me two weeks prior. The agent then went into a long story about all of the bad renters that he has dealt with in the past, of which I personally (as a customer) had no interest in hearing. He insisted that I immediately send him a photo of my drivers license, and I did.
I text the agent that I wanted any required forms brought to me that evening for signatures, as I had no intention of wasting another day of my vacation dealing with this. To that I received no reply. Later that evening we actually rode on the elevator with the guest that was just arriving to check into the Unit 29C that we had reserved earlier in the month and were told was no longer available.
On the following day (24hrs later) a woman knocked on the door and introduced herself as the owner of the unit and offered an inflatable air mattress. I explained to her that we had found one in the back of the utility closet, and complemented her on having a nice condo.
My comments here are in no way to meant degrade the Brooks Tower or Unit 29J, it is a great location with great amenities. I want only to call attention to what every person that rents properties on the internet fears; that they do not get what was advertised and purchased. I would also recommend to the owners of any rental units at the Brooks Tower that you use professionals to handle your bookings. -

We stayed here in July 2012 - our second time after staying in July 2007. Wow! - what a view from the balcony! Daytime views of West Denver and the Rockies in the distance (beautiful), beautiful sunsets on the balcony, watching the spectacular thunderstorms coming in accross the rockies at night!
Step out front of the apartment building and you are just one block from 16th Street Mall and countless top notch restaurants (Check out Rock Bottom Pub and Restaurant - i know it's a chain - but the food here has always been top quality - I love it!)
The apartment is compact and the balcony only really seats two (three at a squeeze) - but three of us (me, my wife and my son) managed supper on the balcony, in comfort with spectacular sunset views! (incidentally - the balcony is clearly twice as big with better views than the "Four Seasons" accross the street!)Rent the apartment and amuse yourself watching people accross the street paying a small fortune for a smaller balcony and no view!
We can't wait to go back!

People and management were very friendly and supportive.
The apartment was OK. Gym and pool (summer) were also a nice incentive in downtown Denver -

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Brooks Towers. I rented a condo up on the 16th floor facing the West side with a spectacular view of downtown and the beautiful Colorado mountains. Brooks Towers is located at 15th and Curtis in downtown Denver. You're a block from Larimer Square and Writers Square (restaurants, bars and shops). Also close and within walking distance is the 16th street mall which offers free shuttles taking you to more bars, restaurants, shops, Denver art museum, and the Denver Mint, and Performing arts. Denver's downtown area is very unique and a "must see" and staying in Brooks Towers offers the convenience of being right in the middle of the action.
For the price and compared to hotels, the condo in Brooks Towers is a bargain. Parking is much more reasonable compared to the rest of downtown and I hardly moved my car unless I needed to go outside the downtown area. The condo I stayed in was very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable and offered satellite TV. Brooks Towers has a convenience store and 2 restaurants. There is a fitness center and swimming pool located on the 3rd floor as well as laundry facilities. I highly recommend staying here.

The Towers are in an excellent location. We walked to everything in Denver. No need for car. Bring your own hair dryer as none are provided. The furniture and carpet are a bit worn, but we did not spend a lot of time in the condo. The owner/manger was very nice and it was easy to make reservations. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for a month. Great view of the downtown. High up and so very little traffic noise. Nice, clean building with a cute pool, small gym and very large laundry. Everything you can need for a stay in close walking distance. Comfy beds, spacious couch, and lots of closet space.

We loved this condo! I want to go back! I am very hard to please, and I am particular when it comes to staying away from home because I am very clean, and this place met my standards! I was very comfortable staying there. We are a four-person family and had plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, etc. Furniture and decor was up-to-date and well kept. The gym is state-of-the-art, the pool was nice, and having a store on the premises came in handy! Beautiful view too. The location is perfect -- in the heart of beautiful downtown Denver -- walking distance to a lot of activities or a short drive to other activities. One small glitch was our room was still being cleaned when we arrived at the pre-agreed-upon check in time, but since there is so much to do nearby, we were able to fill the time -- Larry even made reservations for us and gave us directions.

My first comment is my concern about a prior tripadvisor review that was removed from this review site. I noticed it when I was looking at options in March but its gone now. It was a negative review- I should have paid more attention to it. Since it seemed like only one negative review I didn't give it much credibility-now there should be two negative reviews.
I contacted the mgr of BrooksTower apts thru Tripadvisor in Mar and asked specific questions about the location and accommodations. I was reassured by the mgr on the info that was important to us-a west side unit with 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom. He was quite the salesman and assigned us to 29c-a unit that met our specific request. I made the reservation for a 1 wk stay and paid the deposit as requested on the dates noted in the agreement-all those receipts are noted for unit 29C . I spoke to the mgr at least 2 more times before our trip in July-both conversations were pleasant and included continual assurances the unit would be ideal for our needs. The day before our departure I recd an email that our unit assignment had been changed to unit 33J-I immediately called the mgr. It took 3 calls/messages before I was able to talk to him at which point he downplayed the change. It was a unit facing directly east and had 1 bed in each bedroom. After I told him he was wrong and needed to do something to improve the situation he told me he was just taking care of business.
We never saw 29c and can't say how it was furnished or how the electronics there worked; Unit 33J where we were has only the most basic furnishings-and while we were there the satellite TV and wi-fi didn't work until the day before we were leaving. When the mgr was aware of this he could not be located and sent a local resident to allow us to use a different unit for TV/wireless-totally inconvenient.
Finally, the day before we were departing the mgr contacted me-the wifi was working but still not the TV. In that conversation even he mentioned a lot had gone wrong and he would call to make "economic adjustment". I called him 3x over the next 2 days to work out that adjustment-but he never returned my calls. Ultimately I contacted my credit card co and charged back 1/2 of the total cost, meaning the last payment was credited back to me.
The rest of the property was old and needed updating but was clean. As the ad indicates this apt is cheaper than the nearby Marriott hotel-that's because you get so much more in terms of customer service and accommodations at a Marriott.
I wouldn't recomment this rental to anyone- -

Went to Denver for a "girls" vacation with my daughter. Found Brooks Tower and really checked out this site. Had a wonderful condo with 2 bedrooms and baths, living room, full kitchen and a wonderful balcony with a view of the city lights. Everything we could want and more. Location was exceptional and so was the price. For what it would cost to stay in a one room hotel we got everything for less. Larry, the managing owner, was really great to work with and gave us great advice on places to go and things to do. Thanks Larry.
