Want to get away from the hustle and bustle? Want to find the vacation spot of a lifetime? Look no further. This is true country living at its finest on this 35 acre working horse ranch property with beautiful rustic log home and all the modern amenities you need. Watch wildlife from the comfort of a scen...ic wrap around deck, as well as taking in the most amazing sunsets and sunrises around. Why do people want to come to Colorado? They come for the Rocky Mountains, of course. The Front Range Mountains are nestled up right to the front door and start within (almost) walking distance of the house. You can practically reach out and touch them. Want to bring family and friends? No problem with this 5 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, 2 full sized kitchens, (1 king, 5 queen sized beds, 2 doubles) and more. Can you feel the excitement of the best vacation EVER beginning already? We’ve only just begun.

You will turn onto your own private drive (only 10 minutes from town) to arrive at this –no neighbors- dream property. Begin with relaxing in the 23’ high ceiling great room that will remind you of being at a very high end hunting lodge (but don’t worry ladies, no animal heads in the all bedrooms). Take some time to make arrangements for a fun filled horseback riding trail ride that leaves right from the front entrance. Or get a horseback riding lesson in a quiet indoor or outdoor arena (great year round), located right on the property.

Country living isn’t complete without fabulous meals! Make your own home cooking in a fabulous, granite countertop, Australian Cypress flooring, 6 burner gas stove w/ 2 ovens, gourmet kitchen upstairs. How about a good old fashioned BBQ? You’ll have access to 2 large gas grills that will cook your meat to perfection. Or make reservations at Gabriel’s Restaurant and Tuscan Bar. This 5 star restaurant is just 10 minutes away and has the most amazing Italian cuisine around. There are also several nice restaurants to choose from right in downtown Castle Rock (only 10 minutes away).

This is definitely a year round property with fun in the sun opportunities as well. Love to golf? Say no more. The Ridge at Castle Pines, Castle Pines Golf Club, Red Hawk in Castle Rock, Bear Dance in Larkspur, and Lone Tree Golf Club all within a few miles. The best golf courses around. Fishing, boating, and swimming are also only 20 minutes away at Chatfield Reservoir.

Is shopping in your future? Try being 10 minutes from the #3 attraction in Colorado, The Castle Rock Outlets Mall. Get unbelievable deals and shop to your heart’s content. Maybe you love to gamble. Blackhawk and Central City have some amazing historic casinos, but also features the new Ameristar Casino that gives you the feel of Vegas. They are only an hour scenic drive from your best vacation spot ever!

Ok, winter wonderland adventurers, want to talk skiing? Again, you’ve come to the right spot. Colorado has the most amazing ski resorts around and they are closer than you think. Loveland is but a 30 minute drive, and Breckenridge you can reach in less than 90 minutes. To take in the full scope of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, you can drive further to Aspen, Vail, Steamboat Springs, and many more.

You will be centrally located between Denver and Colorado Springs, offering excellent Colorado History opportunities, or take in the nightlife. Catch a professional Bronco’s Football game while you’re here at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Only 45 minutes. We also offer Rockies Baseball games at the beautiful Coors Field, or Avalanche Hockey and Nuggets Basketball tickets at The Pepsi Center. Take the light rail that will drop you off right in front of you destination, only 25 minutes away.

There is truly something for everyone here in Colorado, but if you are looking to just hang out and relax for your dream vacation, then there is plenty to do on this 35 acres.   10 college classmates met here 35 years after graduating. The home is beautiful and in the foothills! It has a great room that allowed for many hours of sharing! We cooked fresh salmon on the grill and enjoyed the hot tub. We spent a night around the fire pit enjoying smores and the stars. It was breathtaking! Cindy offered massages and they were wonderful! We loved seeing the birds, and animals. A horse ride was another highlight! Cindy and Gary helped in any way needed. We enjoyed a welcome basket of wine and fresh bread! We made a great memory in a great home and ranch! Thanks!

  To begin with we were met by Gary and Cindy, the owners, personally. They showed us the entire house, showed us where everything was and how to work everything...they gave us their cell numbers in case there were any questions. We enjoyed playing dominoes on the game table downstairs, playing pool in the loft upstairs and, of course, watching the Texas Rangers on the enormous TV in the den. We cooked breakfast and grilled dinners each day in the completely furnished kitchen...even baked cookies! It is centrally located between Colorado Springs and Denver which was great for us. We were able to see and watch wildlife from the kitchen window or deck every day...hummingbirds everywhere! We enjoyed it so much I had to remind the family that we needed to do some sight seeing...everybody wanted to stay at the house and play (there were 6 of us, all adults!) Thank you Cindy and Gary for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home! We all agreed, we would love to do it again!
