Description from the owner
Enjoy this updated 1890's two bedroom, one bathroom duplex in Jefferson Park, which is close to Denver's best attractions. While not right downtown, it is an easy walk to Mile High Stadium (aka Sports Authority Field) to watch your favorite football team, the Denver Aquarium, Elitch Gardens, the Children's Museum, restaurants, grocery shopping, and trendy boutiques. A great coffee shop is just 1 block away. The high ceilings give the place a spacious feel. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom is a TV room that has a small loveseat that pulls out into a twin sofa bed (it is probably best for a child or small adult). Th...Read more

Rock Springs, WyomingWe called it the cottage
Left on 06/05/2013 for a stay in May 2013
The house is beautiful, cozy, welcoming and well stocked with just about everything you might need or might have forgotten. Leigh was a perfect hostess, she was attentive, helpful and flexible. I traveled with 2 small children who referred to this house as our cottage and didn't want to leave. They actually asked if we could just move there. The back garden is small but beautiful and it was the perfect sized space for my girls to unwind in the evenings. The house is perfectly located to most things in Denver, it made our drive time faster and easier from visiting in Parker to a day at the Denver Zoo.

Green Bay, WIPerfect getaway home-base!
Left on 05/30/2013 for a stay in May 2013
This was the perfect house for a week's getaway with my mother using Denver as our home-base. The house is beautiful, simple, stylishly decorated, well-maintained and all one's needs have been anticipated. Leigh made a binder of information simply detailing anything we might need to know from how the security system works to where we put recycling items. The kitchen has all the comforts of home from tons of tea-bags to choose from to a "junk-drawer" to bottled water & beers for late night arrival needs like mine (you are the best Leigh!) We were able to walk two blocks to Jack 'n Grill as featured on Man vs. Food to enjoy Mexican is our neighborhood, were a short drive to easily navigable downtown attractions, and centrally located to Rocky Mountain National Park, Idaho Springs for mineral baths, and the event Red Rocks amphitheater. My mother really didn't want to leave and neither did I. Thanks for a great stay Leigh. Choose to stay here and you will not only have everything you need, but have an attentive hostess with Leigh looking after your needs and the comfort of your stay.

San Jose, CaQuiet, quaint "all-inclusive" vacation in Denver
Left on 05/24/2013 for a stay in May 2013
My husband and I stayed in this cute little house for 4 days in May. We arrived to unprecedented snow on the ground for that time of year and it was beautiful. Of course, that dissipated quickly and we had no trouble getting around in our rental car. Leigh, the owner of this little abode, was more than accommodating. She was willing to meet us whenever we arrived and allowed us to stay late on the day we departed. The house has everything you need if you want to have a completely self-catering experience which we love. For 4 days this house was our home -- totally comfortable and well-equipped in every way. We would definitely make this our choice on our next visit to Denver.

Cincinnati, OHPerfect for a getaway
Left on 05/10/2013 for a stay in April 2013
This house was located in a quite neighborhood that's away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown while still being close enough to the Highlands and a great restaurants and bars. My best friend and I went for my birthday and it was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen is perfect and there's an outdoor patio to eat breakfast. It's also super close to the highway so if you plan on traveling around to Boulder, Red Rocks, or anywhere else it's really easy to get on the highway and navigate. Leigh also is extremely helpful and friendly! She went out of her way and met us at the property to check us in and make sure we knew how everything worked and that everything was up to par. She was fantastic and had great recommendations. If you're looking for dinner go to Linger! It's fantastic. Overall we had an incredible stay and we highly recommend this property.

This place is amazing! Perfect location, just off the highway and close to everything! It's perfect for two, one room each. The heater is a bit loud at night but not so loud you can't sleep.

I could have asked for a better place to stay in Denver! Very central to everything, easy access to anything I wanted to do. Leigh was very accommodating and helpful with everything. I will certainly try and stay here again when in Denver! Much, much better than a hotel!

iowamy new favorite place in Denver
Left on 01/27/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I travel to Denver often and have always stayed in hotels. I found this on tripadvisor.com and decided to give it a shot. First off, parking is easy and free. A big plus as it can be expensive at any decently clean hotel in the city. Also, WiFi is free here. Some hotels make you pay. The place has more square footage than any hotel room I've been to, as well as a small backyard that is private with a table. There is a washer and dryer conveniently located in the kitchen closet in case someone would need which again, is not in any hotels I've been in. Finally, the full kitchen is well updated and is far more than any microwave and fridge you would get in any hotel. The only thing I can say positive for hotels are the amenities like a pool/hot tub and workout areas. I don't really use those. So, for your money, this is probably one of the best deals in Denver. Also, Leigh is great to work with. The place is perfect. Zero complaints. A rare thing when I'm dealing with the hotels.

MinneapolisClean, cozy, comfortable!
Left on 12/29/2012 for a stay in November 2012
My husbad, daughter, and I spent Thanksgiving here this year. We had a wonderful time. Leigh was very friendly and helpful. She even had a pack-n-play set up in the 2nd bedroom for our daughter to sleep in. The neighborhood is quiet and the restuarants nearby are great. Another added bonus is Jefferson park just down the street with play equipment.

I stayed here Oct 10-23 and had a blast! Leigh is very friendly and has a nice little place here in Denver. Close to some really good food. We didn't have a car while traveling out to Denver, so we relied on public transportation which was very helpful. The house is in great condition and is very clean. Nice little back yard to sit and just relax. Very friendly neighbors as well. I can't wait to some back to Denver. Will be contacting Leigh in the future for when I will return. Thank you for everything!

This adorable historic bungalow is just the ticket if you want a real home away from home! Stocked with everything you need, close to some of the hippest and funnest attractions in Denver, and a secluded backyard of your own to boot! Loved the vibe. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Minneapolis, MNCozy Denver Home
Left on 09/19/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well decorated the house was. The photos displayed on the website don't do it justice. It is very well put together and cozy and we had a very relaxing stay! Leigh was also very helpful with any questions we had during our stay. This house is a great little spot to unwind and relax for a few days! We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a place to stay in Denver.
