On the first day of our vacation I showered in the hall bath next to the twin bedroom. There are tiles in the floor of the shower that have no texture & are very slippery. I stepped out of the shower with my right foot to get my towel & my back foot slipped backwards out from under me causing me to do the splits dragging my right foot over the metal base of the shower door. I didn't break anything, but could not get up for about ten minutes since I had extremely stretched my upper right leg muscle & it went into spasm. I limped the rest of my vacation & needless to say did not shower again during my stay.
Please notify the owners that some sort of rubber decals or whatever need to be installed or they are going to have a lawsuit on their hands. I am still extremely bruised @ the back of my right ankle & my muscle still cramps @ night if I don't bend my leg to sleep. Sorry for being such a downer, but this could have been a lot worse. -

The condo was great from the moment we walked in the door! When the mother-in-law says that this is the best place and the best time she has had on the beach - you know you've done good!

Masterbath had strong odor of smoke when we arrived. Also, these days you should not have to pay for internet. You can get free internet at the basic hotels now. I like how close the complex is to beach, undercover parking, and large pools.

It could not have been cleaner... Kudos to Housekeeping!!!
Michael (in reservations) was so nice, helpful, & thorough!
Only 1 suggestion:
1. Wish we could pick up & drop off keys, parking pass, etc... on premises. Traffic was so bad on 98 coming in.
I plan on calling Michael soon to book next years vacation!

I really liked this condo. We stay at Silver Beach Towers every year. This unit had a comfy king-size bed, nice furniture, and great balcony seating. The only thing I wish they would do is clean or remove the carpet in the bedrooms. It was really dirty and old looking. Otherwise...great condo!

We especially like the Destin beach area and restaurants. Silver Beach Towers condos have awesome floor plans that allow fabulous beach views. Assigned secure covered parking, manicured grounds & pool area, and free beach set-ups make the package special. 705E was furnished nicely and up- to-date, although we didn't care for the bedroom carpet stains. Most importantly Compass staff responded promptly to my every request from bringing me a spatula and a mixer for kitchen utensils, to providing a light bulb and assistance with operation of the DVD player (which my husband and son couldn't quite figure out). Although we have been to Sbtowers before, this was our first time renting through Compass. We will definitely check back with Compass next year because the rates were good too!

Check-in was a bit confusing but probably my fault. I thought the after hours lock box was on the property, not at Compass Resorts headquarters. After that, everything woked out perfectly. I would highly recommend this unit. I have stayed at Silver Beach and Silver Shells and although Silver Beach is a bit older, it has easier access to the beach which is why I went to Destin.

We had a wonderful stay. Condo very nice, but poorly stocked kitchen. I had no scissors and only 4 plates in my unit. I also feel we should be able to have key drop at facility. The compass resort location is out of the way.

The accomodations themselves were fine. The facility had everything we needed for a nice stay. We were very dissatisfied with the beach setup situation, not being able to use our own umbrella, although it was the same type used in the rentals, and having to leave the property to pick up coupons to rent additional setups. Another issue was the key/fobs required to enter and exit the building and beach boardwalk. This created for very frustrating times as we had five sets total between a 2 and 3 bedroom unit with a total of 10 adults and 3 children. As a frequent visitor to Destin, we've been going for over 30 years, usually 2 to 3 times a year, I wouldn't stay at this property again because of these two situations. The actual unit was very nice and comfortable and the property had everything we needed otherwise.

The beach is wonderful here in Destin. We will return to this complex again. The view is excellant. We really enjoyed the beach and pools. The home is very nice except that it needs to have a little maintenance done. For instance, the water faucets in each room stay on when turning off (what a struggle),there is some mold on ceiling in living room, and the throw rugs and bedspread in the master bedroom needed to be cleaned. Other than that, it was a very nice unit. I would recommend.
Compass Resorts handled the reservations and they were a little weak on their check-in procedures. We arrived after hours and their instructions were very vague as to where to park and enter the building. If it wasn't for the wonderful Security guard, we would have stood outside for an even longer time waiting for someone to go in the doors. They also did not make arrangements to have beach chairs/umbrella available that was included in price. Their instructions overall could have been a little better. Also, instructions did not direct you how to get to Compass Resorts from the airport. -

Compass Resorts is the only reservation company we will use in the future. They are so pleasant and helpful. The condo was exactly what they said it would be, lovely. It is the best location in Destin. The best thing about our stay was how close a walk it was to the beach. The only complaint I could have is not enough condo's at Silver Beach to choose from. Thanks Compass for a wonderful stay!!

The Condo at Silver Beach towers was exceptional. Very clean, Very nice rooms, Excellent Master bedroom and was really impressed with the master shower and hot tub. The privacy of the beach and security of the condo was amazing. The location of the condo was ideal for being close to all restauraunts ans shopping centers. The beach chair service included with the room rental was very very nice. Saved me alot of money. The most amazing thing about the property was for sure the views of the ocean from every room in the condo and true gulf front location which made access to the sand and water very easy and quick, just stroll down the elavator, walk 150 feet and bam you are in the water. The service and easiness of dealing with Compass resorts was very trouble free and they made my stay and checking in and out very nice. Not to mention had a great price on an awesome condo. Will definatley be back every year.
I had six people in this room and every one was amazed and no one wanted to leave. That is saying something in itself after being on the road and vacation for two weeks, nobody being tired, and ready to go home. We travel alot and every year some where different but i think we have for sure found a spot we will return to every year finally. Great job Compass resorts. See you next August. -

The place is decorated beautiful and is very spacious. We were very comfortable with 5 people. The only problems I had were finding the rental office to pick up my packet and getting into the condo. The rental office is not easy to find late at night and the directions for getting into Silver Beach Towers did not specifically say to hold the key fob to the security light. It took me over 2 hours to figure it out. I did not get a call back when I called the after hours number about my issue with getting into the building. The sliding glass doors also had an issue and we were not able to access the balcony for about 2 days of our stay. I would definitely ask about this issue to see if it has been resolved before you stay here. The condo is directly on the gulf side and the view from the balcony is wonderful.

We stayed at Silver Beach Towers E705 the week of June 20th . We had an exceptional vacation. Our accommodations were decorated very beautifully and the view was spectacular. What I personally loved about Silver Beach Towers was their security. They kept the property very secure and I felt comfortable with three teenage daughters in tow. I cannot say enough about the sand, water, snorkeling and accommodations. Thank you for a great memory!
