This is not my favorite of units we have stayed in at Destin. It was very clean but it is an older unit. The elevators open up just outside the entrance door and laundry is just outside the bedroom window so it is noisy at night and light shines in your eyes. The beach in front of this unit was extremely crowded always. However, the view was great, you are in walking distance to some great activities and restaurants, and they have a shaded parking area. I would stay again if there was no other place to stay but otherwise I would prefer a less crowded beach.

Unit 203 was very nicely furnished and in a great location (overlooking the sundeck, laundry right outside the unit, near the elevators). Parking was adequate- a two floor garage- although the second floor is not covered which is something to consider in the summer! The pool is nice except it is on the east side of the building and shaded most of the day. It is heated though and was not cold for this time of year. The hot tub was great but always crowded. The only issue we had with the unit was a toilet that continually filled but we called Southern Vacation Rentals and it was repaired within a few hours. This is a very family oriented resort- safe, friendly, great location, and very clean! Unit 203 was perfect for us!

The unit had no upgrades since the building was built in the 1990's. The refrigerator froze liquids and fruits on the shelves the second day of our stay and the ice maker was slow when we arrived but eventually made ice but froze it solid over night! Baseboards in the bathroom where gouged and had not been repaired or repainted. The toilets in both bathrooms stopped up twice with normal usage. The towels in both bathrooms were very worn and paper thin. The furniture and the kitchen counters and appliances were original making them fourteen years old. We really liked the Pelican Beach complex and amenities which was very well maintained, so we asked at the desk to see other units available and under Pelican Beach management. We looked at two other beach front units one was better than #203 and the other one was outstanding with many upgrades. The price for renting on the outstanding unit was less than 10% more than we paid for #203.

Nice condo on second floor just across from elevators and stairs where you could make a quick dash to beach, also the washer and dryer was just outside our door. Great full gulf view from the balcony. Neat cafe within building with good food. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful unit on the second floor right off the elevator, near ice and coke machines and washing machines. Pleanty of parking when we were therre in mid august. Well stocked with supplies. Balconies overlook beach. It was clean when we arrived, no complaints. Would go back without hesitation.

Don't know why this place would get anything but great reviews. It was clean, well-stocked, and a great location. The views were amazing. Parking was pleantiful.Loved the keyless entry. Loved the bunk beds built into the hall. Extra sheets, towels, pillows and blankets were provided. We had fine WiFI reception for the internet. The television had numerous channels. The only negative was there was not much space around the bathroom sinks, but that was easy to adjust to.

I loved the location of this condo. Next to all shopping, eating, and outdoor activities. The condo was very clean and the view was unbelievable! I loved the fact that I did not have to check in/out at the front desk. The condo had everything a family needed to operate on a daily basis! I am hoping that this will be our vacation destination for years to come!

We were very impressed with our condo. It was beautifully decorated and had almost everything you could need. Maybe a few more kitchen utensils, but otherwise it was very clean, spacious and just truly a wonderful vacation. Being on the second floor, right beside elevator was a added bonus. We appreciate the time we spent and memories we made. We would definatley stay again.

Enjoyed the accomodations very much as it was conveniently located to the beach, restaurants shops, etc and well maintained. Was disappointed in such a high late check out charge since it was off-season and the unit wasn't being rented the following day. Overall a very enjoyable trip as Destin is one of our favorite vacation spots.

We were disappointed in our condo. Upon entry the ceiling was spotted with patch work and needed a coat of paint. The trim in the entire unit was peeling and scratched. We were surprised to find carpet in the living area and master bedroom, and it was stained and dirty. The refrigerator handle was dirty and the bottom shelf was cracked. We took our laptops but could only use them in the lobby. The little tiki hut opened in the a.m. and we had a falling down drunk, very young girl on our section of the beach. Not a family atmosphere at all!! The location was good, in the middle of everything and right on the beach. But we would not stay here again unless we could be assured of a nicer unit.
