My husband and I stayed in 1502 the last week in October. We were looking for much needed R&R; and found what we were looking for. Being on the 15th floor gave a gorgeous view and felt very private. The king bed is amazing--so comfortable. The unit is well equipped to make any type of meals. The biggest negative we had was that the screen door in the master didn't work so we couldn't leave the sliding glass door open at night to hear the ocean. Living room needs better seating and lighting--we could not read in the living room at night. Balcony furniture was very heavy and uncomfortable. One of the two hot tubs was broken for several days. These issues were minor in our overall experience, and we definitely plan on returning.

We only stayed one night in this home. We had extended our trip. Loved the style. The only thing that we might say against this home was the fact that it was on 15th floor. We prefer to stay on much lower floors. The beds were very comfortable. Overall it was a very nice night.

We've been renting condos in Destin for 25 years but never stayed in one as nice as this one! Renting from Mr. Sloan was such a pleasure. He's very informative and responds quickly to questions. We hope this condo is available when we find the time to visit our favorite vacation destination.

We had the most wonderful time! The view was amazing and the condo was beautiful and very comfortable! The shopping outlet was fun and everyone was very nice. I will come back to this unit on my next visit here. I hated to leave!
We got to see the largest full moon of the year out over the ocean! -

Condo was very clean. King bed very comfortable. View from balcony was breath taking. We could see dolphins swimming under the clear blue waters. White sand felt like you were walking on powder, beaches very clean. McGuire's Irish Pub was a great place for dinner and drinks. We will definitely return to Destin and would rent this condo again. Owner Howard Sloan was very quick to respond to emails and reservation info!

Your beach condo was exactly what we wanted for our Spring Break with our family of 3 teenagers. The beach is gorgeous and the chair / umbrella set up each day ideal. The pools and grounds were always immaculate.
The condo was very comforatable with privacy in the master suite and plenty of living space. There was a problem with the washing machine that was swiftly addressed and we were given replacement beach towels.
Howard was very responsive accomdating in the rental process. We'll be back! -

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. The condo is lovely, roomy and well equipped. As stated, the views are stunning and make for a beautiful breakfast and later, happy hour on the balcony. The property is very beautifully maintained and the access to beach chairs and umbrellas is very convenient. Even though the entrance to the property is on a busy street, there is a signal light which makes entry/exit very easy and safe. There is shopping very close by with excellent restaurants all around. Activities abound for all ages. We will certainly return to this condo.

Excellent, well kept Condo, clean with beautiful furnishings. Small problem with a stopped up sink in the Master Bath was fixed in a timely manner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back. The views over the beach were spectacular and my husband and 2 friends had a wonderful 4 days.

The condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect. Everything we could ask for and more. The best sleep I have had in 20 years. I meant to check what brand mattress the master bed was and forgot, I was so relaxed. We loved the view from the 15th floor. Watching the dolpins come in and views of the beach. The check-in and out process was very smooth. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo. I would definitely love to come back next year!

Our actual condo was great and just as described. Two things in particular that we did like was the close proximity/short walk to the beach which also meant that the bathrooms at the pool were easy to get to as well! And two beds in the second bedroom is great. However, we were very dissappointed in the beach rule of not being allowed to use our beach chairs in front of the line of resort chairs. We always have our own chairs and enjoy sitting either closer to the water than the line of resort chairs or even like to sit in them with our feet in the ocean and this was not allowed. We were definitely not the only ones upset with this rule. It seemed that all of those around us were quite dissatisfied regarding this issue and the employees had to frequently come tell people to move their chairs back. Another unexpected rule was the strictness in the pool area with food and drinks and closing time. We wanted to put our feet in the hot tub one evening after 10 pm and were not allowed to do so. In addition, they are very strict regarding food and drink in the hot tub/pool area.
Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our vacation and the condo immensely. But, I must add, we will probably not return to Silver Beach Towers next year as we have not had the above mentioned issues with our previous stays in Destin. -

We had the best family vacation at Silver Beach Towers! It was so relaxing, despite the fact that it was spring break, the beach was still very private and exclusive...not too crowded. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed and more for a family of 6. We were able to cook most of our meals to save money, plus you can't beat eating out on the balcony! Walking distance to shops and restaurants is a major plus! Lots to do for teenagers and children just up the street but we just loved the beach and heated pools right downstairs. Cant wait to go back! Thank you Howard and Compass! Great owner, great management company! We hope to be talking to you again soon!

Compass Resorts was great. Great service. Great location. Unit was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped.
Liked least: Living room seating very uncomfortable. Poor liliving room lighting. Insufficient lounge seating on balcony. -

We really enjoyed Silver Beach Towers, it was very clean and spacious, was mislead thinking that the 2nd bedroom had two queens and was only double beds, bathrooms were great. Master bed was very comfortable. Very close and conveinent to the beach. Pools were awesome. Disappointed that you had to pay for internet service. That wasn't explained before hand. All in all it was nice, the algea and seaweed kept us from getting in the ocean but that was noone's fault and was still very beautiful from the balcony. Would stay there again.

Our dealings with Compass went very well. The condo is really nice - well equipped kitchen and very comfortable furniture and beds. Bathrooms are exceptionally nice with great walk-in showers in both. Building itself is very nice and grounds are kept beautifully. Gated covered parking was appreciated. Two pools were never crowded. No wait for elevators. Wi-fi needs to be purchased and is a little pricey and very slow. There are some inconsistencies with the management with regard to enforcement of rules and regulations. Get exact info beforehand on use of fitness facilities at Silver Shells (can everyone use it or just guests staying through in-building management); beach/pool armband use (required by certain people certain days and not at all other days); complimentary beach set-up (coupon needed or not for chairs).

The location was perfect, all the way around. Close to great restaurants and shopping but still the perfect private beach spot. Amazing views! We enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the dolphins and sea turtles from the balcony. We were surprised by the smaller than expected mattresses in the second room but would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at 1502 W, along with our two high school daughters, and their 2 friends. This two bedroom was spacious enough for us all. The close proximity of the condo to the pool and ocean, allowed the girls to come and go, without our worrying about their safety. The weather was perfect, unfortunately there was an ugly green algae present in the water, that had been there for 3 weeks. These things are out of one's control!
Even so, we had a wonderful time, as we did the year before! -

This is our 5th or 6th year at Silver Beach Towers in Destin. The property is great in all aspects - location, accomodations, view, pool, beach. You just can't beat it! Unit 1502W was especally accommodating with having two double beds in the second bedroom. And, the master suite mattress was super comfortable!
